   I started here as an adult beginner this year. I have trained in a few other places and have had some not so positive experiences. I want to encourage anyone considering coming here, both adult or children, that this place is very high quality but at the same time an excellent safe environment to train in. Mike is an expert and very experienced. He is also a gifted instructor, not something that comes necessarily with experience! I found the students were considerate, polite and respectful. As an adult it can be tough to train alongside children but not here. JKA is the premier Karate school globally, with excellent standards and professionalism. You won't find better in terms of getting the real deal. But at the same time, Mike has an excellent balance of hard work and personal discipline, while making everyone feel comfortable to progress at their own pace and ability. Wow this became an essay. Buy seriously, do try out Karate, an excellent way to stay fit, be confident and keep safe.

   My daughter went to this class for approximately 6 years and found it to be the best karate class she has gone to, Sensai Mike is very passionate and the best possible teacher for my daughter. He teaches kids on discipline and life skills through his talks to the kids and his way of teaching. And also a very reasonable price I definitely recommend!
