They are inside and right next door to the Blood Testing Centre on the Ground Floor. > Drive in as if you were going to get yr Blood Tests, > Walk in the Side Entrance with the double glass doors, > keep walking forward inside and on your Left, > is a Reception Desk, > that is the New Location for Kelston Medical Ctr. > From: 27th November 2024 > New Address: 5 Glendale Road, Glen Eden, Auckland (next door to blood testing centre) _____________________________________________________________ Hi, I have been a patient at Kelston Medical Centre for 16 years now in 2021. I am so glad I found KMC, as they have looked after my health with Expert Care, Compassion and Understanding while at the same time sharing with me the exact Knowledge I need to know, while not confusing me with too much information. I have been in Hospital several times due to personal health emergencies that were picked up by my own Dr Peter Boyd very quickly and he conveyed exactly what was happening to me. I had originally tried several different Doctors in the local area and after finding Kelston Medical Centre, I knew pretty much within the first month that I had found the right set of Doctors and Nurses. I use the same Doctor every time as Dr Peter Boyd is my Doctor and I don't have to see other Doctors every different time I go. They also make set appointments for you so you don't have to just turn up and wait for hours to be seen, which is one of the main factors I love. They also have a great group of Nurses which are available to help you any time. Also the prices are very affordable and I am officially enrolled so if you have any Questions give them a call and make an appointment. Thank You Kevin Borg

   One of the best GPs I have had the privilege of dealing with. I often have to contact GPs as part of my work and the receptionists, nurse and doctors were all excellent - rapid response time and incredibly helpful. Thank you for an awesome experience!

   I was there when Peter Boyd arrived at this practice. Over the years I came to trust him and believe he always had my best interests at heart. After many years of living in both the North and South Island and the last 11 in Australia, he was the best GP I have ever encountered. I can still remember a funny conversation we had one late Thursday night when he must of had a trying day and he said to me "I could move to Remmers and make so much more money ", My reply was " well go bloody do it then" and he answered with, " nah, I would rather stick with the real people".    Worse medical facility in aotearoa. Stay away from this place I had covid before, and begged for medicines for my chest pain, sore throat, cough and fever, the receptionist and the female doctor said to me, (while i am very unwell” You dont meds, you just need rest and alot of water (Why will i call a GP if i can google it aye?) They will not offer help, they will only “talk you out of it.

   It’s really disappointing to have to give 2 stars as the doctors here are great. Unfortunately the receptionist Christie needs to go as she brings this whole establishment down. She is rude and condescending as others have mentioned. The practice Manager needs to pull this woman aside and put her firmly in her place or even better set her on her merry way.

   Friendly service with the nurses,, but you book an appointment for 2 and wait for plus one hour to see him!! Wondering what’s going on in there that takes this long! People have conditions and can’t wait for this long if booked an appointment, we too have jobs to go back to. A simple apology won’t get it straight n need to treat all the same. (one hour consultation = &19)

   The reception staff don't know how to be welcoming or helpful. Today I was unwell and I called medical center to book an appointment with my GP. Recipient staff told me due to level 3 lockdown we are unable to visit any patient, however I could talk consultant on phone. I asked the receptionist if consultant is able to give prescription. She raised her voice and repeated sentences. Unfortunately she didn’t listen why am I calling for, I found it so rude and unprofessional to treat a patient who’s suffering from high fever and body aches.
