I have been a student at KKN under my guru Parul di for over 2 years now. From as far back as I can remember, I have wanted to learn Kathak. There are so many classes that I have tried in the past that remotely resemble the dance form. I think it is fair to say that this is one of the best Kathak classes I have taken in Auckland. Not only are we taught from the absolute basics, we are taught about music, we are taught with regards to a set syllabus, and we are taught a beautiful technical dance form by a Guru who is clearly extremely passionate, knowledgeable and genuinely cares about the progress of her students. Having built a connection over the last 2 years with Parul di, I can say she is one of the most kindest and most humble teachers, she has such a positive impact on her students. Brilliant teacher, amazing Kathak family, and just a wonderful art form to tie us all together. Thoroughly enjoying my experience and looking forward to many more classes! :)
