Fantastic dentist i had some teeth issues and he fixed them all.I am absolutely delighted with the results
Went there after getting some discomfort. Was able to get an appointment in 2 weeks from the call. Went in, and the staff where very friendly and talkative. Ashwin was also very friendly and was able to find the problem and pull the tooth. Was all over fairly quickly and with minimal pain. The cost was also quite reasonable. I will go back if I have any more dental issues.
Saw Ashwin for a check up. He found I needed two wisdom teeth out and potentially two fillings due to impacted teeth. Had two separate procedures, he was careful and made the experiences relaxing for what they were. Ended up with a bill less than the quote as he found one of the wisdom teeth hadn't impacted on the tooth next to it as badly as first thought. Definitely recommend.

I had the best dental experience I've ever had today at Ashwin Magan Dental! I have very bad dental anxiety but have had a bad tooth situation I needed to get sorted since early October. I went to a different dentist who made the situation worse, as well as seriously increasing my dental anxiety. So my colleague/friend recommended Ashwin because he helped her overcome her fear of the dentist. Ashwin has such a kind, friendly, calm demenour that immediately put me at ease. During my root canal today we watched The Simpsons on the big TV above my head and that easily took my mind off what he was doing. But even the procedure itself was not that bad. I thought I would have to be sedated (something the original dentist said would be $600!) but I was relaxed with Ashwin with only a little diazapam prior to my appointment. Wait times to get appointments are super long (usually around a month) but it's honestly worth it to get a dentist who cares and who understands how to soothe an anxious customer! Thank you to Ashwin and his whole team of lovely, funny ladies. Highly recommended!
Callled them for a ENQUIRY on getting my permanent retainer replaced and asked for cost, how long it would take and when i could get “One” appointment the receptionist ignored the fact that i couldn’t make the first appointment that she had mentioned and booked me in without my knowledge she THEN booked me in for ANOTHER appointment no idea why i would need two appointments for a “10 minute job” she told me. I told her that the price was steep and that i would look around at other dentists and said goodbye. A month later i had a $140 bill in the mail for 2 missed appointments i never wanted. It was disgusting especially since it was only gonna be a 10 minute job anyways they told me.
Wanted to give a shout out for Ashwin Magan Dental Surgery. Excellent work, great people skills and staff are lovely. Great facilities and up with the times equipment. I no longer live nearby but will be making the trip to Ashwin Magan Dental for future work as have found my new local in Waikato cannot compare. My daughter also had Fast Braces with Ashwin Magan and her teeth are perfect.
