   I trained at Judokwai a long time ago in 2014/2015, but still 10 years later on reflection I have to say one of the best things that happened to me while I was in NZ was finding such an amazing club to learn and grow my Judo. I was already a long time BJJ practicioner by that stage and just starting my Judo journey and I can honestly say the quality of the training under Brent, Paul, Keith, Adrian and all the other coaches, as well as the help I received from the community including Lynton who helped me every step of the way is something I'll never forget. I couldn't recommend this amazing club enough.

   This is the best Judo club for kids and adults. I love the fact that this is not just for fun and play. Kids are not only paired up learning the techniques. They actually have free fight (Randori) like adult session. They have great coaches and great culture - older ones looking after little ones, very friendly environment. I used to go to adult session pre covid. They also let me join the kids session (awesome use of my time). After I started, a couple of other mum joined in too. I was so grateful. Absolutely love this club!

   Best Judo club! Operating 50+ years, own dojo, great student to teacher ratio and great fundamentals. Judo provides a great core for any martial artist with solid stand up clinches, throws, trips and sweeps as well as a formidable ground game for when it goes down.
