   IN LOVE WITH MY NEW HAIRCUT!! I have pretty curly hair so I was a bit weary about coming, but all was lost when I saw the end result. NAFISA IS MOTHERRRR! She was the one who cut and styled me, a gorgeous, cute, beautiful woman (would highly recommend her to anyone!). The staff are all great, very friendly! Will definitely be coming back!

   ✨ Raksha ✨ The woman responsible for my return to the New Lynn establishment after two years. This beauty is an asset!!! She takes thorough care of every one of her clients who come from all walks of life. Definitely a master of her craft who respects your requests and doesn’t go against the vision of style or cut you have in mind. I’m so grateful to be back in her presence again, she’s a vibe!

   I had a horrible experience at this salon right before my baby shower, and it completely ruined my special day. I went there hoping to feel beautiful and confident, but left in tears. The experienced stylist was in a rush to go home and, without informing me, left me with a new staff member who had no idea how to blow-dry or cut hair properly. My hair looked uneven, frizzy, and unprofessional — I was heartbroken and felt so embarrassed. I was pregnant at the time, and this left me feeling emotionally distressed and depressed. I even went back the next day to speak with the manager, but she couldn’t communicate properly in English and didn’t seem to understand or care about my situation. This was one of the worst salon experiences of my life. They showed no professionalism, no empathy, and no accountability. I would never recommend this place to anyone — especially for an important occasion.

   I was served by Raksha when I took my 17 month old toddler in for a haircut today and my experience with Raksha was incredible. She was warm and welcoming and worked really hard to help reassure my son that it was ok to have his haircut and help put him at ease. Whilst being extremely patient she was also extremely efficient and we didn't have to spend too much time in the salon. I was very grateful for Raksha's fantastic customer service today after the extremely negative experience I had elsewhere. Thank you Raksha, the Just Cuts Team are lucky to have you!

   Ms. Dory did a great job on styling my hair. She really listens to what I want and always ask me for feedback regarding my cut. We also share some stories as we are both Filipinos. I highly recommend her even for men's cut. She is highly skilled and experienced. They also have discount for tertiary students. Best money I have ever spent on a haircut!

   I don’t normally write reviews but felt like I needed to write this. I walked in with washed, dried straightened hair down to my shoulder blades as I thought it would make it easier for the hairdresser. Instead my hair was butchered. I had told the lady I was thinking of getting a bob cut done, which the hairdresser replied ‘no not your beautiful long hair, it looks more feminine when people have long hair’. I then told her I was also trying to decide on long layers instead, and she was happy when I said that. Told her if I was to get layers done I did not want to lose too much length then (I knew short hairs with layers did not look nice on me). Told her it was either a nice bob cut just sitting above my shoulders all same length, or long layers with layers around my face. I then showed her a photo of the bob cut I wanted and she replied with ‘all the way up there?’, just above my shoulders. I told her I’ve had it before and I knew what I looked like with one. It felt like the moment I sat in the hair she was rushing me, even though there was probably only 1 other customer there. She even said ‘good thing it’s not busy right now’ when I was trying to decide between a bob cut and long layers. I’ve had bad experience with one other hairdresser when she tried layering my hair so that’s why I was trying to avoid getting it done. She did not seem too happy when I kept talking about a bob cut because she interrupted me with ‘you keep referring back to this layer bob cut’ which I replied back with ‘no not layered bob cut, it will be a straight bob as I know layered ones would not look nice on me’. I then said ‘if I was to get layers I want to keep the length and just be getting rid of the dead ends with long layers around my face’. She then said ‘that’s it no more changing your mind, we’re doing this. As soon as she picked up hairs from the front and did a straight cut, I had a feeling it was not going to turn out good but I gave her the benefit of the doubt as she started at the back. Once it was done I regretted trying out Just Cuts, the long layers that were meant to frame my face looked like thick bangs/fringe and thick, and when I tried to tie my hair up those hairs just sat there above my raw line. I was not happy with it and she knew it too, she attempted to try tie my hair all up but it looked like a palm tree sticking up at the top of my head. Told her the layers that were meant to be long and below my my jaw line were too short, and she then said you can do this and started trying to pull the hairs down straight so it was below the jawline (my hair was already dead straight, I told her no, I wasn’t going to keep pulling at my hair during the day only for it to bounce back up near my check bones. I can’t even tie my hair up because the hair around my face keeps coming out. Really disappointed, if staff are not able to do a certain hair style/cut then just say that. I ended up with what looked like a really short thick bob/bangs cut in the front, and butchered layers around the rest of my hair

   My partner & I both had our long hair trimmed at the salon on Saturday and want to thank both stylists who cut our hair. They did a lovely job - especially the woman who spend a lot of time majing sure it looked perfect and that I was happy. We don’t know the names of the haicutters as we just walked in off the mall and were served immediately but we just wanted to say thank you and what a great job. We are both very happy with service and price.

   Li Chu is a fantastic stylist. I love a graduated bob and she takes this to a whole 'nother level. Within fifteen minutes of leaving the just cuts salon I was complimented on my hair TWICE by strangers and then again by a friend who I bumped into by chance. I will never go anywhere else for my hair from now on. Thanks Li.
