   Amazing service, amazing staff. I am a very happy client. Came in to the practice today for the first time to the dentist in over 10 years with chipped teeth from a fall. Felt no judgment and Left with my teeth looking like they did before they were chipped! Very happy with their skill and “bedside manner” Great work

   I used to be the biggest wuss about going to the dentist until I enrolled with Lumino and was lucky enough to have Jareth as my dentist. The reason I called them in the first place was because I saw such excellent reviews about Jareth on here and it gave me the courage to give them a try. I thought my previous dentist was good but Jareth has well and truly surpassed any dentist I have ever had. He has a great relaxed but professional manner. Always puts me at ease by telling me exactly what procedures entail and why. I have never been so well informed about my teeth and felt so confident in my care of them, he explains everything SO well! As for pain - don't even worry about it. I had two wisdom teeth filled the other day and actually found myself zoning out while he was drilling my teeth - and there was a LOT of decay but it was all completely painless! Same as when he extracted another of my wisdom teeth recently, I had a bad experience with a previous dentist so had put this one off for a long time but it was an absolute breeze. I honestly can't recommend him highly enough, and the rest of the staff are lovely too!

   Unfortunately I needed dental treatment at my local dentist for serious toothache. $100.00 for my first appointment which included the check up fee and three xrays which I thought was a fair price. I then had to wait three weeks in terrible pain for my next appointment to have three bottom front teeth removed, which were loose and with an infection underneath. My treatment was very professional and caring. My complaint is because of the cost for less than one hour in the dentists chair.... $850.00 for 50 minutes! Most people don't even earn that amount of money for working a 40 hour week! When I went back a week later to question why it cost so much, I was given a lecture on how much it cost to run a dental surgery and how the Government didn't subsidize dental treatment. I was also made to feel so ungrateful because I had received such a large discount already! Really! I am so disgusted with how much it cost for dental treatment in our country. These thieves at Coastlands Dental Health Care are no different to other dentists in New Zealand who are more concerned about making as much money as possible. This is legal theft and it's terrible when people can't afford dental treatment because of pure greed. People have no choice but to suffer toothache while their teeth riot in their head. I am extremely disgusted with the rip off dentists like this who are so shameless and so greedy. We desperately need to have dental treatment regulated so all New Zealanders can afford to go to the dentist in NZ.

   This is a late review cause I was looking where to enter it :) sorry not computer literate. I like to express my sincere thanks to Jareth the wonderful dentist who treated me. It is the best service I ever had. No offence to the other dentist but Jareth had a calm,caring therapeutic way that gave me confident during my pain. There was no bleeding afterwards it appears that it was healed after the surgery. I took the advise he gave me and after 24 hours I felt so good. I will soon come back to look at the plan we discussed for further treatment. Thank you greatly Jareth and team. The staff member at the desk who look after my appointment was very welcoming and others after my treatment. Thank thank thank you again. See you soon .God Bless.

   Sadly I have moved to the Wairarapa. I was with Stephen and his team from 1992 to 2019 (27 years) and I received nothing but professional service. I cannot recommend Coastlands Dental enough. Wonderful staff, good prices, latest techniques and equipment, and painless.
