   I rung the store today to ask about dog clippers. I was trying to decide if I should just buy some and clip the dog myself. Nobody answered my call, I assume their were customers in the shop. But then, AMAZING, 3 minutes later Grace returned my call. I hadn’t even bothered leaving a voice mail. She was super helpful, and I was nearby, so I decided to pop in and have a look. Eight minutes later and Grace had helped me choose suitable dog clippers, and I grabbed a pack of Gillette blades too because Grace explained the different 5 blade options clearly! Grace was efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. I would shop at shaver shop again just for the quality of Grace’s customer service and depth of knowledge.

   I had a old phillips shaver of 8 years. I decided i need upgrading so I went to Shaver shop. My hair grows fast, thick. I was assured the shaver I was looking at was ideal. I wished to think about it and went back later, saw a different person. I was told the same. I brought the product to be extremely dissapointed. I went back to my old shaver. Even the supposedly tilting head was no advantage over the fixed head. Reasently I brought a shaving kit from Kmart for $39. There is no comparison on ease of use or quality. Thumbs up to Kmart

   I went to the Shaver Shop Newmarket a couple of days ago to buy a Hair Clipper DIY. I purchased the product and used it on the same day. Works well but is a little bit noisier than I expected. The Trim was clean! I visited the store a few days before I purchase the product to check and confirm the product. The sales assistant lady assisted me well. But when I went to purchase, there were only two guys; one reached to assist but unexpectedly, I experienced the worst customer service one can ever imagine! He lousily explained about the product, and also it appeared to me that he didn't know the product that well! I had to ask the other guys whether this person is new to the Store coz I thought that they have asked someone on the street to do the sales instead! He left me in the middle of the conversation, that was quite an embarrassing moment, I need not elaborate on that! I wrote to the Shaver Shop AU but they refused to publish it on their page as it carries bad remarks; I guess! I believe the customer should be treated well and other customers should know about these kinda things so they can go somewhere else and purchase. I'm so disappointed!

   So I walk in there looking at entry level electric men’s shavers. Guy immediately tries to upsell me to the most expensive, telling me the $80-120 range is for 14-15 year old boys. At least try and understand your customer’s needs and cater to them, instead of just trying to make a quick buck. Not everyone wants to pay $600 for an electric shaver. Hey but I guess that’s the world we live in.

In my recent purchase for an electric toothbrush, I was served the cashier; Nishan, it was a pleasure to deal with him. Shaver Shop should be proud to have a dedicated and qualified staff like him.
