Very disappointing experience and regret walking in here or having anything to do with this place I left more traumatised than I felt supported. After a hard conversation I wasn't wasn't even granted the time to catch my breath or finish my cup of tea with dignity; zero privacy - left the door open and left me to cope with things on my own in the open. After speaking to someone who told me they could help on the phone.. Very irresponsible and very unsupportive. Wouldn't recommend going here for anyone going through some real life stuff. Disappointing the Porirua whanau and women's centre has closed. Their team was far less judgemental and actually helpful. A warm welcoming space. Really wish I never walked in to this place and really wish I never spoke to anyone here about what it is I'm going through. Also for a service that offers counselling services and referral I am gobsmacked that there was no way to be able to support me and what I'm going through. ZERO support offered.
