    Customer Service Experience on 22 November 2026 (Approx. 14:00 hrs) Dear Jay Jays Management, I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the service I received at your store on 22 November 2026 at approximately 2:00 PM. I respectfully request that the CCTV footage for this time period be reviewed to validate the concerns outlined below. This visit marked the first time I have experienced such unsatisfactory service at Jay Jays, and it was a significant departure from the standard I have previously encountered. Upon entering the store, I observed that one staff member (a female employee wearing a scarf) appeared to be engaged in a personal conversation with a friend on the shop floor, rather than attending to customers. After selecting my items and proceeding to checkout, I attempted to use my Prezzee Card. The process of entering the card number took an excessive amount of time, and I was eventually informed that the balance could only be retrieved when shopping online. I explained that I had successfully used the same card in-store on a previous occasion, but due to delays and time constraints, I advised the staff that I would return later. When I returned shortly afterwards, I selected my items again and waited at the checkout. At that point, a queue had already formed, and no staff members were available to assist. I was also informed that the store manager was on break during peak trading hours, which contributed further to my frustration—particularly given that this was my second attempt to complete the purchase. On 25 November 2026, I returned to the store and spoke directly with the store manager. Upon explaining my experience, I was advised that the staff—including the manager herself—were new and still undergoing training, and that the store had been short-staffed during one of the busiest days of the week. While I understand the pressures associated with peak periods and new staff rotations, I must emphasise that these are internal operational matters. Customers should not be disadvantaged due to insufficient staffing or incomplete employee training. The store manager did offer an apology and contacted IT to retrieve the balance on my Prezzee Card—an action which, in my view, could have been undertaken during my initial visit. I wish to reiterate that while I understand the challenges associated with busy retail environments, proper training, adequate staffing levels, and attentive customer service are essential responsibilities of the business. My experience on 22 November reflects a lapse in these areas and should be addressed to prevent similar issues for future customers. I trust that this matter will be taken seriously and reviewed accordingly. I look forward to your response and to seeing improvements implemented.

    Clothes from months ago are still on the racks. Who knows how many body’s have tried them on. The last 3 visits there I went to purchase clothes that were on the 30% discount racks but was informed that they’re still full priced when I went to pay. None of the workers are smiling but they do let me know what deals and specials they have.
