The man at the Kelston store is THE WORST. My daughter (12) was looking at earrings while her nan was getting lotto, my daughters phone rang in her pocket so she took it out and then put phone back in pocket, she then went to the counter and brought the earrings and left the store. He approached her while she was waiting for her nan outside the store and was aggressive and loudly accused her of stealing more earrings in her pocket (it was her phone she had put back in pocket. She emptied her pockets and showed him that she had nothing except what she brought and her phone then her nan had came over and the man had already called security made them all watch the camera footage and he was WRONG. It was her phone like my daughter was telling him but he was not listening and cutting her off and he STILL didn't let up saying her phone on the video could be earrings. My daughter was mortified trying not to cry then her nan tossed the earrings that they paid for at the owner and left. My daughter got home crying and told me what happened so I went straight back there with my daughter once she calmed down and I demanded he apologise to her face and told him HOW DARE he AGGRESSIVELY approach her, embarrass and humiliate her and all BEFORE checking the footage as well. He could of easily checked the footage before making a huge scene coz the damage was done she was so embarrassed and felt like everyone looking thought she was a thief. She never wanted to go back there. I told her HE should hang his head in shame for doing what he did..not her ..so she agreed to come back with me and we went there head held high and had a stern chat with him and he apologised - as he should ..but then had to add his 5 cents and try keep it going then he tried to give back the earrings her nan had thrown at him and we said NO. We don't want nothing from you wether its paid for or not and I had to physically stop him from trying to force us to take it back. The security from earlier had came over when the man was apologising and the security guard was backing me and my daughter up because he saw it all from before then he had to tell the man to stop when he was trying to give us the earrings back and then the man put them by our feet. We left and he started arguing with the security… it said it was a closing down sale thank goodness but if he is still there after a month I want to take it higher or something because who does he think he is treating people like this.

This for e-thing dollar store Kelston Mall—Absolutely disgusting store!!! I had my 1-year-old with me, simply browsing, when this man (I’m pretty sure the owner) came up and told us to leave. No reason given, no basic courtesy, nothing — just pure rudeness. Who treats customers, let alone a parent with a baby, like that?! I have never experienced such unprofessional and arrogant behaviour. Shame on you! If this is how they choose to treat potential customers, then they clearly don’t care about their reputation, their business, or basic human decency. I will never set foot in this place again, and I will be warning everyone I know to stay far away. There are plenty of other stores that actually value and respect their customers — this one clearly does not. Shame on them!

Worst shop I have ever walked been into, I have been here many times before but never again. My 5 year old was looking at a toy and the man came over out of no where and told her off, I said excuse me she’s just looking at the costumes and he yelled at her. My 5 year old was absolutely terrified and couldn’t even walk past the shop when we left. Absolutely appalled at this behaviour, I would give it zero stars if I could.

Went shopping today and my wife and kids went into this shop when all of sudden my daughter got accused of stealing but yet they could clearly see our trolley filled with paid shopping. The Asian man started to shout at my daughter and wife and started to cuss and wave his finger at them and decided to call the security as soon as he seen me turn the corner. I hope they shut down soon with the disgusting behaviour. We hope no one else goes through this again

I would advise anyone to read reviews before going into this absolutely tragic store - customer service was atrocious, rude and unhelpful staff members. Korean man was super rude to my elderly grandma, she left the store nearly crying. Shame on you!

I should have looked at the reviews of this place before I went in… Staff were SO RUDE. My partner and I were looking for some incense sticks and got lambasted by the counter guy because he thought we were opening everything. Incense as many of you will know is a scent, and the descriptions don’t mean anything next to smelling for yourself. We weren’t destroying his stock or anything like that, but we got pointed at and ‘finger wagged’, treated like naughty children. We left all our items and won’t be back.

If anybody seeing this, please avoid this store. The checkout lady literally smirked and puffed in anger when I asked her if she double charged me. I had to tell her to calm down, it is not a big deal, everyone makes a mistake. So entitled owners, I would never step into this store nor encourage anybody to do so until they improve. Also their products are no good (no high expectations anyways)… especially their nail polish remover, I am halfway down the bottle and it has done nothing, 3 dollars down the drain, and I’m okay with it.

Have never been so disgusted at a retail store. Came in to have a look with my boyfriend and found a Pen I wanted. Gave it to my Boyfriend to hold but he said it was broken cos it wasn’t clicking so I grabbed it off him and went back to swap it. The Korean Man starts harassing my bf saying where is it then tries to say we tried to steal it. I literally laughed from how ridiculous it was and said to check the camera footage and he then tries to shoo us out of the store. Just cos there’s a storm we were wearing hoodies and beanies decided to play the racist card. Don’t bother wasting ur money here everything is over $5 anyways lol

Meaniest two dollar shop The korean staff on the counter cannot be anymore mean, came looking for some envelopes but couldnt find it by myself, so when I request assistance she act like she has to do the worst job in the planet, and made mean faces while yelling, it didnt take 20 seconds of her time, and she is entitled for that by her job role. Her act could be understandable at least if the store was busy and she is stressed, but I was the only customer. Shops in Henderson are asking to be saved but shops like these cannot be saved with these kind of staff
