Alex is a great guy who does a very thorough job. Told me up front what to expect it to cost. Kept me informed as he we worked through the issues. And the cost was very reasonable for the amount of work done. I will be back for an alarm system. Highly recommended.

Just wanted to share some feedback — I wasn’t informed there would be a $20 labor fee for a quick key fob battery replacement, which caught me a bit off guard. A simple breakdown beforehand would’ve been appreciated, especially since the CR2450 battery itself sells for around $6–12 at Repco or The Warehouse. I’ve spoken with a few others since, and the general consensus is that I was overcharged. That said, I respect the hustle — just something to keep in mind for future customers. Edit (For response to Owner) Hi Alex, I just wanted to share some feedback based on my recent experience. As a customer who isn’t fully aware of the ins and outs of automotive services, I believe it’s the responsibility of a shop to clearly explain what’s being carried out. When I was told the total was $40, I assumed it involved some form of reprogramming or technical work. However, after speaking with others, I learned that replacing a battery typically just involves popping the old one out and putting a new one in—something that takes less than a minute. From what I understand, charging $20 for that short task implies a labour rate of $1200/hr. Even if your standard rate is $250/hr, a one-minute job would reasonably come to around $4–5. Many shops provide a breakdown of parts and labour, and I think that goes a long way in building trust with customers. I’m not here to argue—I’ve left a rating and provided this feedback simply based on how I felt. I genuinely hope this helps for future interactions. A lot of people say yes on the spot because they trust the service provider. Thanks again.
If you're looking for a top tier auto sparky, Alex is your guy. Two other garages ran diagnostics on my car and couldn't figure out what the issue was. I took it in to Alex and he quickly figured out what the problem was and had it repaired within a few hours. Excellent service, saw me on short notice and fairly priced.
Dropped in with my Pontiac on the off chance Alex could let me know why the battery keeps going flat. As he worked through the diagnostics, he kept me informed as to what he was doing, what the desired outcome was and at the end of each step, the result. Ended up I need a new alternator (after all it was 40 years old). However, I now am confident the battery is fine and there is nothing draining the battery when not in use. Very impressed and very highly recommended.

Alex is amazing and was super friendly. I came in last minute to get a simple electrical fault fixed and a new key. He did it all within an hour, I would highly recommend the shop for any car electrical faults or installs.
