Our family have been clients of Matthews Plumbing and Gasfitting for year's. A local family owned business who are reliable and trustworthy. Every job has been throughly explained to us with prompt service. I can't praise this company enough. Every job is stress free, because I know Chris and the team will take care us.
Watercare notified us of a high usage reading. We contacted Matthews the next morning and they came the next day and repaired the fault.that afternoon. Johnny advised us to request a refund from Watercare, attaching their invoice. So helpful and quickly got us over a stressful time. Very happy with their service and tidy efficient work and kept us informed as they proceeded.
Possibly the best tradesmen we have had dealings with in a long time. Great administrative systems, communications and professionalism but most of all we were really impressed with their team member Johnny. He arrived on time, greeted us and told us what the problem was as we opened the front door. He was efficient, friendly, mindful of our budget and completed the two tasks we asked of him in a timely manner. He then completely cleaned up after himself before leaving, reminding us that there was a 24 hour on call service should we need it in the future . Thank you Matthews Plumbing.

Had our hot water cylinder stuff out dialed the emergency number had a team member out within the hour on a Sunday and tap it off they were back on Tuesday upgraded us to gas and also up graded the granny flat to hi pressure mains , tidy reliable, did a great job very happy with there service ..highly recommended

Chris quickly & efficiently diagnosed the source of my water leak, based on experience & expertise. I had a leak under my bath tub & Chris quickly identified it was a faulty bath spout & provided cost effective solutions for the fix. Honest & awesome service.
New vanity installation. Arrived early, friendly, professional, worked extremely fast. All done in under two hours. Awesome attention to detail. Took away old vanity and all packaging. And they spoke highly about their company culture and boss. Top class!
