    We had the most amazing experience with the Newmarket RM team on the weekend. I had a pair of boots purchased for my birthday which i later sized to my feet. 5 months later my feet were a little uncomfortable so in i went to see what could be done. The manager β€˜apologized’ ( for what i thought), and promptly offered a new replacement pair. Boy am I happy with their product and awesome service. Shoes elsewhere? Not on your life. Thanks RM

    My wife and I bought some boots online which weren’t quite the right size. We had to exchange them and received excellent service and advice from Brian who fit our feet into far more appropriate shoes than what we had purchased. He made an already fairly seamless customer service experience even better! Exceptional service and product knowledge and we would not hesitate to recommend this store to anyone.

    Exceptional customer service is rare in New Zealand, but RM Williams in Newmarket truly exceeded my expectations. From my first contact to picking up my replacement boots, the experience was seamless. Manager Drake was outstanding - he responded promptly to my email with photos, addressed my concerns, and provided an excellent solution. I was genuinely impressed by the professionalism and level of service. Thank you, RM Williams, and a special thanks to Drake at the Newmarket branch. First-class service!

    Had a great experience with Phil. Had bought some shoes in Australia that didn't have the right fit and have been causing pain. Phil helped me find the right fit with a Dynamic Flex pair and made the exchange process easy. Really appreciated his help.

    Was helped by the lovely Maia yesterday when browsing for a pair of boots. She explained the different styles and shapes, as well as the available sizes and widths. We felt no pressure to make a purchase, as some salespeople can give, and felt really respected as a customer. As we were in a rush and planned to come back at a later stage, she offered to put them on hold for us which was great. Popped in today to purchase them and was a bit gutted we couldn’t give her the sale, but overall really satisfied with the product and want to send a big thank you to Maia!

    Everytime I've been in this store the staff are not only disinterested but seem to actively ignore customers - not sure if they assume we can't afford the product or whether they are just really bad at their job. Eitherway have yet to buy a pair of boots because of the uncomofortable experience of staff who clearly do not want customers in the store.

    Probably one of the worst customer service retail store I have visited. I went to the store to purchase two pairs of boots. Staff did not have any product knowledge. I wanted the boots to try on, the didn't have the second pair. How can you try on boots without the second shoe??? Staff members went to the back to bring the 1 boot! Really 1 boot. Then I was advised the boots not in stock and R M Williams no longer sell the pair that I wanted? How can you have it on display if you don't stock it. In addition it's the R M Williams original boot. Being told the boots are no longer made clearly showed the lack of knowledge the staff. In the end after being frustrated, I was told to check online and purchase it there. Seriously? They failed to check or provide me further details. Why have a store when you can't purchase a pair. Why hire staff if they are not trained well. Really bad experience.

    Very enjoyable experience. I went to the store on a Tuesday to have a browse with the intention of returning that Friday. First visit, I had great conversation with Nathan, who also provided some shoe knowledge which was helpful. He recommended I talk to Chelsea when I return. On Friday Chelsea served me and was very helpful and nice. Purchased what I was after and was on my way. Overall very good experience at RM in Newmarket.

    I bought one of your jackets online and there was a sizing error and decided to go to RM Williams New Market to help rectify the situation. The person who served me is called Nathan, and he was extremely helpful and professional. Sorted the issue out in less than 10 minutes and I left away very happy. Give this man a promotion and raise!!!
