   Decided to sell some gold bullion, coins and scrap jewellery when prices peaked and was very impressed with the service and the professional friendly staff who were very busy. I was recommended to go their by a valuer and went three times! Love how they have renovated the historic building and will be returning!

   GoldSaver is a bit poor in terms of quality of the service. The website isn't working well (very slow, won't proceed, lacks functionality) and I wasn't able to skip a payment since the option was suddenly disappeared, and despite asking them via email twice to not process and skip this month's payment.

   I had decided to sell some gold sovereigns. I shopped around and found these guys had a great price and easy to get to ,no appointment required. The shop was busy and the owner (who was a nice guy) came out and apologized for the wait. The staff were friendly and helpful and efficient. The price I got was a lot better than a quote I had received from a merchant in the city.(around $1200 difference) Would recommend this business. After I got home my wife decided she had a few items of gold that weren't being used. She was impressed with the price obtained when I sold the sovereigns, and my impression of the people and company. So this morning we tracked over to onehunga again. We were fortunate that there was no queue this time. I saw the same friendly young lady Amy ,who remembered me . So we did the deal and the money was in my account this afternoon. Great service from kiwi company. Would definitely use them again. Before selling your items shop around, these guys had the best price.

   Long time colleague/ friend has informed me that these people aren't trust worthy, them stating to him they misplaced his gold meant for sale then refused payment of any compensation. My friend and I have been involved in many cooperating projects and I NEVER had him do wrong to me, nor have I ever heard any of his other partnerships make a complaint against him for wrong doing. Steer clear of this place and warn your friends and family!

   I recently sold gold to New Zealand Gold Merchants LTD. I recommend their services 100%. The price they pay is fair, good and transparent! The people are very friendly and professional. They pay as soon as they have run their tests either cash (banknotes)or EFT as you require.

   Our experience with gold dealing in person was so far not a positive one. However, this business made the difference. John has made us welcome, was patient, answered all of our questions in a jovial, yet very professional manner. We were impressed with the clean, tidy and welcoming premise as well, compared to two other gold dealers we saw. The dealing process was extremely smooth and very customer friendly, all possible on the same day. Will recommend to anyone wanting to deal with gold or silver. It also shows that this has been an efficiently run family business for many years.
