   We are so frustrated with Astra Radiology that we feel compelled to leave a public review. We were referred to Astra by the GP at White Cross next door for a CT scan for my wife. The receptionist asked me to write my contact number on the referral form, which we did, and she printed it out. She then failed to tell us that they had secure an appointment time for that afternoon and instead told us to go home and wait to be contacted. Both my wife and I clearly heard this. Later that afternoon we still hadn’t been contacted and that was when we realised the receptionist had scribbled an appointment time on the referral notice. So why didn’t she mention this or tell us to our faces and instead told us wait for a call? We will never know… but the upshot is they took zero responsibility and did absolutely nothing to make it better. Furthermore they continued to blame us and refused to reschedule an appointment. Our advice would be to find a company that cares about communication and customer relations and give Astra Radiology a miss if you have a choice. Absolutely one of the most frustrating patient customer experiences of the year at an already vulnerable time - when you’ve been sick for weeks. Shockingly bad communication. I do have to give a positive shout out to White Cross, different company, for trying. They were actually all great and Nikki the GP was fantastic.

   I’m 20 weeks pregnant and was shocked by how appalling the receptionist’s attitude was. The woman who answered the phone was so unbelievably rude, hostile, and grumpy that I genuinely couldn’t believe she works in healthcare. I simply asked her to repeat what she said — ONE time — because it was hard to hear. Instead of helping, she snapped at me, sighed loudly, and spoke in a nasty, condescending, “you’re wasting my time” tone that made me feel completely unwelcome. It felt discriminatory and targeted, and absolutely unacceptable for someone dealing with pregnant patients. Her behaviour was so aggressive and unnecessary that my stress level went through the roof. No pregnant woman should be treated like this when she’s just trying to book a scan. Avoid this place at all costs. If the first point of contact treats you like garbage, imagine the rest. I will never call this clinic again and I hope they seriously reconsider who they put at their front desk.

   Ascot Radiology What a great experience. Got an appointment very very quickly. Had really lovely people to deal with. Radiologist and helper were fantastic Would highly recommend it to anyone And the MRI machine is huge. No feeling of clostriphobia at all Thankyou

   Had my ultrasound this afternoon and had a lovely caring experience. From the reception who was polite, brief, detailed and efficient to the compassionate sonographer, sadly I didn’t catch her name but she’s so kind, sensitive and gentle to her client’s feeling, best service.

   Excellent service from the CT scan staff – they were caring, professional, and showed great empathy towards patients. 5 ⭐'s! However, the experience at the radiology reception could be improved. The receptionists appeared disengaged and lacking in customer service, which did not create a welcoming first impression. Some customer service training could make a big difference in patient experience at the front desk.

   Amazing staff and service. ALL of the staff are super caring and thoughtful. They really look after you and are happy to explain everything. I have been going to them for 3+ years now. Recently had to have scans at other clinics and I rate Astra Radiology the best by far. THANK YOU for looking after me.

   Please do not come here if you are pregnant. I booked my pregnancy scan here, specifically for my husband to be there. I arrived at 7.50am as scheduled, but the ultrasonographer only arrived at 8.40 am. My husband had to leave at 8.30 (which was exactly why we booked specifically at the time we did). I was not offered an alternative time. Due to the completely unprofessional 50 minute tardiness, I had to find out my fetus was dead completely alone, without any support. The ultrasonographer even had the audacity to say “wow, this is a really bad day for you” - so unprofessional. I will never come here again, and I will be telling anyone who will listen about my experience so they stay away too. Use my experience as a warning - book somewhere else.

   We pay good money to have our scans done here. It’s absolutely rubbish that we have to follow up, sometimes even having to send multiple emails, every single time just to receive our scans folder. There must be a better system. This is a huge organization, surely your admin staff should have better processes?? It’s just sending a link to our phones. Why is this such a complicated task to grasp?? Mind blowing.

   The sonographers have all been very friendly every time I visited for my ultrasound. I’m also very happy that I did not have to pay for my follow up visit due to baby’s position not being quite right the first time.

   What an amazing experience for my husband and I, and our 8-yo, during my 12-week scan. The radiologist we had was amazing. We didn't feel rushed at all and we got to enjoy watching our little jelly bean wriggle around and for our 8-yo to see his little sibling he's been wanting for so long. Thank you! It was a special moment for us. I was in doubt to get the package at first as we moved 45km away from Ascot Hospital the day after my first scan with them. But after this experience, I would rather travel to get the same amazing service. I would highly recommend! Worth every cent. Thank you!!
