I found Astra radiology a very welcoming and pleasant place to go for my CT scan. Plenty of free parking and no waiting for my appointment. The staff are friendly and efficient. I would happily go there for all my scans. Thank you for your kind service.
I am a young mum, who was recommended this place by another radiologist company for an emergency. When I called and was put through on the phone, I was connected to the most rudest lady I have ever dealt with. She has zero compassion, zero empathy and zero understanding. Unfortunately i didn’t catch her name and I wish i had because her attitude needs to be addressed. Considering she is one of the first points of contact when reaching out to this branch, it is beyond appalling. It’s extremely off putting. (I called at 1:17pm on the 29th of April 2025)
About the best medical experience I’ve had. After being told I’d have to wait up to 8 hours for a CT scan at Auckland Hospital, I came here and was in and out within 15 minutes. Lovely surroundings with clean, spacious, comfortable waiting area and clinic. Easy parking. Lovely staff who know what they're doing and explained everything well so I knew exactly what was happening.
Was not warned about the $300 surcharge before attending the appointment. The team checked with my health insurer and would have known in advance, so to only find out after the appointment was a shock. In previous experience with other providers they have always informed me if there is a surcharge and the amount.
