UNCOMFORTABLE experience in the Wairau /Glenfield look sharp today. Staff members were RACIAL PROFILING US, we were being followed around the store and it was OBVIOUS. Just because we dress or look a certain way or even our skin tone we shouldn’t be immediately judged. Would never want to shop in this store again.
Good deals. Fills the gap between $2 shop and Kmart. For those old enough to remember, it’s very much like The Warehouse was when the first launched.
Interesting experience. Came in and went straight to balloons to get what I wanted. Even though there were two employees available in eyesight I had to ring the bell for service. After choosing my balloons I was told I needed to pay beforehand, fair enough. I paid. Another girl came and got balloons as well, her balloons were filled prior to being paid for and my service was postponed while hers was completed. Very unprofessional Some staff have a very offensive body odor and this is not the first time. Interesting, I wonder if the roles were reversed if he would’ve done the same for me. Funny how prejudice can come from people shade of brown. I’m brown, she’s euro Kiwi and he seems Nepalese or South Indian, very disappointing. They were in no rush, they’re still shopping and he could’ve finished my service prior to starting hers. Literally no excuse for his behavior.
Bought some party stuff from here. Heaps of stuff on sales. Customer service was nice. It has lots of party things, costumes, and decorations. The prices are cheap, and you can find many different items. Sometimes the shop is a bit messy, but it’s fun to look around. Good place for birthdays and parties.
We used Looksharp Wairau Rd for all of the decor and the balloons for our company's 30th birthday - it was 1990's themed with neon colours and smiley faces and they were so helpful. We asked for delivery for the balloons part of our order, and it wasn't their usual service and we paid for it but it was so worth it - really great service from the team and responded to emails with queries for different stock swiftly. Highly recommend this store, thank-you!
Great value for dress up wigs moustache and hats. Lots of stuff crammed into this store.

Always so many options here, plus another room to the side full of costumes, party treats, baking extras etc. Cheap and fun to browse! On-site parking in front of the store.
My kind of store - fantastics buys from party needs to household stuff at cheap prices. Just what we need in this time of rising cost of living. Highly recommended.
