   I’ve been a member at the Mangere Cosmopolitan Club for about a year now, along with several of my friends who also signed up after we recommended it. We’ve been regulars and have spent thousands here over the past year. Unfortunately, the way we’ve been treated by some of the staff—particularly the taller lady behind the bar—has been consistently disappointing. While most of the other ladies can actually be quite nice at times, the taller lady’s attitude has ruined the experience for us. Despite us always being polite, respectful, and using our manners (please and thank you), we are often spoken to in a rude or sarcastic way, as if we’re stupid. We’ve tried to give the benefit of the doubt many times, but sadly, it’s been the same experience every visit. Our most recent experience has really put us off coming back, which is a shame because we genuinely enjoyed supporting the club and even encouraged many of our friends to become members. But going forward, when people ask us about the club, we’ll be giving them our honest feedback. It’s sad to see this kind of attitude in a hospitality environment, especially when it risks losing not only our continued support, but also the future business of many others. We wanted to keep supporting the club, but unless things change, we simply can’t continue.

   Good cheap drinks but the meal we had was not very good. The steak was extremely chewy. The garlic mash potatoes had so much garlic in it that I felt queasy afterwards and into the night. The fresh garden veges were boiled until they had wrinkles. I know this may seem really negetive but it was just wasn't good. Please take these criticisms as an opportunity to fix this.

   I haven't been back for quite some time, went for dinner tonight and it was fabulous. Had the T-bone steak ($30), no complaints! It was a kids disco on tonight, on that side of the club. The music was a bit loud, but loved how they catered for the kids tonight. It's a great place to go catch up, have a bite and a few quiets at reasonable prices! I should've taken a photo of our meals, it was worthy of a photo...next time!

   Friendly atmosphere, recently renovated. Bistro has decent food thats reasonably priced. Dessert menu changes weekly. Warm temperature inside against the winter climate.

   Well today thought would take my family for a nice roast meal. Told run out of roast pork only chicken, it was only 5 past 5, okay ordered the chicken, meal was not hot, broccoli cold. Okay then after we finished told the pork is available, what’s going on? There were about 16-18 people in the dining area all seated. Then the men’s toilets were out of order,Not very good for future members to join tonight. I want to support the club and my 3 sons were planning to join but, no thanks it’s got to be better than this. Plus there’s no menu shown anywhere if there are other options. Very disappointing!

   Went in tonight for dinner. Usual lovely bar ladies Sharon n Geraldine weren't there. The one that dealt with us looked annoyed that we asked where to order dinner. Left the premises. Called later to enquire about my membership card. Phone answered by very rude woman who said she couldn't help because she was busy after I gave her my card number. Very disappointed Mangere resident!
