I made an email enquiry and phoned in the morning to get an appointment. They were fully booked. They put me on the wait list, I was greatful that they managed to get me in last minute. I went for acupuncture and can not fault this service. However was very disappointed to be charged $145.00 on the way out, when it said $95.00. They mentioned it was a consult fee, however a 5 minute chat (if that) about why I was there and what was wrong is not worth the money in my opinion. I would have appreciated being told the cost before and not after, especially as a new client. If you want ACC you need to sort this before your visit. Unfortunately I won't be returning for a follow up.

Everything at Modern Health Chinese Medical Centre is harmonious and discrete. The service and privacy is respectful but not clinical, here you can feel a sense of well-being before even the treatment starts. The practitioner also gentle in questioning, respectful and gives such a good effect from the treatment, I could not help bit to recommend them 100%. To have tradional Chinese Medicine available on the main street of Lower Hutt ? This is world class
Be aware of some hidden charges. Additional to the ACC subcharge ($35), there is another consultation charge ($35). I rang them twice to confirm the charge before making an appointment, but I was not told about the consultation charge until they asked me to pay. The hidden charge may apply to other treatments.
