After seeing how extremely low the ratings were in other reviews, I want to express my gratitude once again to my GP, Kevin Park. I also want to thank Catherine, the head nurse, who did not overlook the issue I had with a nurse. She tried her best to understand from the patient’s perspective, listened carefully, and worked to ensure that such things would not happen again in the future. My GP, Kevin Park, listened carefully to my opinions and reflected them by changing my blood pressure medication. (A doctor who understands the patient’s pain → the best doctor^^) Even though the previous medication didn’t work, after he changed it, my blood pressure has remained normal for months. Just as reports say that symptoms improve faster when there is strong trust between a doctor and a patient, I believe having a good GP is truly important. In that sense, I am very grateful.

Came into the reception, just to be greeted very unfriendly and get told to pay $78, was pointed to the EFT pos machine, no please or thank you. Then witnessed an elderly lady (with a walking stick) and her husband be given a wheelchair for him with 2 flat tires. The lady then told the receptionist that the wheelchair was hard to push and saw that the tires were flat. They then gave her a new one, just to have the same issue. I then had to get up and tell the reception that the second wheelchair also had flat tires. They watched the elderly lady struggle to move her husband into the 3rd wheelchair, not offering any help. I then went to see Dr Siobhan Trevallyan, where she only took basic vital signs, rushed over my diagnosis, and told me that there was nothing much she could do as the infection has already reached its peak. I wasn't offered any medications to ease the symptoms I still have. I ended up paying $78 just to have been there for less than 5 min and not even properly cared for. Terrible service every time we go haven't bothered going through the effort of writng a review, but this has by far been the worst one out of all of them. My family and I won't be back... Ever.

I couldn't get an appointment with my own doctor there so had to go with who was available, I was disappointed - felt like I was being rushed because they were running late. Felt like I wasn't getting listened to. To pay $78 for a rushed 5 minute appointment when I paid for a 15 minute appointment. Feel like they rushed my diagnosis and didn't even listen properly to how it happened. The pain I'm in is crazy and all she offered was panadol when I clearly told her panadol and ibuprofen wasn't helping at all. My normal doctor there is amazing so abit of a let down when I encountered this doctor :(

The receptionist are not friendly at all, and have a condescending tone when taking to you. I've had a terrible experience over the phone that left me questioning the whole conversation - I hope this was recorded for their sake and used it as an opportunity to train staff again. Baffles my mind that they are a health care provider.

Since new management, this center become definitely the worse medical center in Auckland!!! They started charging patients penalty on repeat prescriptions that has been paid in 2 days late!!! They have no concerns that usual patients who are elderly would have transport issues and they will pay when they come next time! It’s not like they go to visit someone else!! Terrible customer service and management; overly costly. Hardly we can find an appointment with the doctor and I guess they treat their stuff badly too so many of their good physicians left this practice! Someone needs to answer & be responsible to all these unhappy reviews here!

When I last visited, I discovered that The Doctors Apollo have increased the GP costs once again - it is now over $70 for a 15 minute visit PLUS another $35 if your GP cannot complete the specialist referrals / scripts within this time slot (which is near impossible after talking through health concerns/symptoms). That is over $100 for a 15 minute visit, which makes going to the doctor to get concerns looked into even more daunting than it already is. I've been with this GP for over 20 years and absolutely love my GP however due to now being unable to afford a visit, will be changing to a local GP (under $40 per visit - still on the north shore).

I hardly leave a review or let alone a bad review about any business.. I have been a registered patient in Apollo for more than 7 years and I have transferred my self to a cheaper closer destination but for my kids, I kept it. The first several years ( between 2015-2019), I didn't have too much bothering issues in terms of getting appointment and the proper care. But afterwards they have changed their walk in policies and now I can never get any appointment on the same week or after. So when my toddler get sick she has to wait several weeks to be looked after and / or pay late visit to Shore Care and wait in there a couple hours if we lucky to see the doctor that day. Usually it might take to two days to finally reach to a doctor and get a resolution even in there. I have fished around to find a new GP but all of them nearby have no longer emergency lines so I feel I have no choice even I would transferred them.. I am so frustrated as I have 3 kids and the youngest carries bugs to whole household almost every week as she is in the daycare and I have to deal with this doctor problems almost every week these winter days.. If anyone knows a better GP with better services, please reply, I am desperate.

You will never be able to see a doctor on the day of or the day after or even the same week - minimum of a week wait. RIDICULOUS. If you are sick and need to see a doctor for antibiotics or common cold/cough, don't even bother. So so so frustrating!

First of all their wait time is 2-3 weeks, every time we call them all we get it 2-3 weeks wait time or take our little one to shore care which cost $60 for kids and $110 for adults. Doctors aren’t that qualified either they don’t do proper check. My partner was diagnosed with copd and reports were sent to Apollo in 2021 and doctors here didn’t do anything & This time she went and pointed out copd and some doctor managed to refer her to the hospital. It was very poorly managed, all i can say is that even though they are doctors. It is still a business to them. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

Watch this Centre! 2/4/2023 Just before Covid Travel restrictions were lifted (which the Doctors would have known about), they rushed my friends appointment through so they could charge nearly $300 for her exemption to travel, when the restrictions were lifted the same afternoon. Blatant extortion!
