Been going to papatoetoe pools since the early 2000s. Very nostalgic environment for me. Love going there every time..highly recommend.
Not much for kiddy water play. But does the job. Simple and straight forward..similar to jellyco
“This place was an absolute disaster — by far the worst experience I’ve had in Auckland. The receptionist was extremely rude, the whole area smelled like urine, and it was insanely overcrowded. I came specifically for the outdoor pool, and even that was closed without any proper notice. The staff showed zero responsibility in any situation, and the water was unbelievably dirty. On top of that, you can’t take your eyes off your child for even a second, because for kids under ten, all responsibility is entirely on you. I would never recommend this place to anyone.”

Great pools. Sometimes not all sections are available so good to call and see what's open - especially if you're taking baby(s)
Attended for infant swimming lesson but was so busy and over crowded with no structure. Also had to climb over lane dividers to get into corner of pool where infant lessons were held; definitely need to take another person with you for that!
A bit dated as there are only 4 lanes in the big pool and a small kids pool next to it. Gets super busy in the morning because of all the swim classes which only leaves 1 lane for the kids who can swim to play in. Would suggest to go around lunch or afternoon as this is the time it starts to die down. Outdoor pool is great fun and reminds me of the old parakai outdoor pool only this one is not heated. Suggest to have a shower at home to wash off the chlorine as the amenities are not that great. A good space to take the kids and have a couple hours of fun.
