As an ECE Master student of NZTC, I regret my choice very much. I know more than 60 classmates, and we all feel very bad. The so-called online classes are actually just self-study to read web pages and a lot of pdf files. The teachers here do not attend classes, but only check assignments. Master is a project that was only opened this year. The teacher's requirements are extremely abnormal. Many students fail the first course, and they are rejected without even having the opportunity to resubmit it. The Maori culture course is basically all failed, the teacher does not give any guidance, but requires you to make a profound analysis. International students have to pay 5,000 New Zealand dollars for a re-study. Everyone feels that they have been cheated. They have not only been cheated of money, but also under great mental pressure. We have paid high tuition fees, but we can't get any help. There is no normal curriculum system and teaching. This is completely a fraudulent institution that relies on giving high commissions to intermediaries and making money through students' failed courses.

Fees free was great. I watched everyone else pay an qualify before me, which hurt as a single mum but then my time came, it was tricky trying to balance kids an working fulltime on my own but being able to sit in the dark during my free time an chip away at studying online was so good an now I'm qualified and have studied even further an the hard times seem so far behind me now. I love having qualifications behind me a career, money and a successful life. I'm greatful nztc offered the option to succeed in a way that fitted my lifestyle at the time to help better my future for me an my kids.

I started studying diploma and bachelor of early childhood teaching with New Zealand Tertiary College at the age of 17, so on the younger side, they were very supportive of the needs I had and accomodating the whole time. The support from the pastoral support, admin, lecturers and just anyone who I contacted was excellent I felt as though all questions I had throughout my entire time of study were answered promptly and honestly which definitely made the studying experience a+ for me. As someone with adhd, motivation and achieving deadlines were a huge challenge though but once again I was given a huge amount of support. I am very grateful for the past 3 and a bit years I spent studying with Nztc.

After enrolling with another provider to complete my Level 4 Health and Wellbeing and being utterly disappopinted, I had the best experience with NZTC - mainly I enjoyed that the website was so easy to navigate and the support given was great with prompt responses and all! The study material and the way it was presented and structured was excellent. I got a lot out of it and would definitely choose NZTC again!

I studied both my levels 3 and 4 health and wellbeing certificates through NZTC. Being able to study at home was great as I was a solo stay at home mum at the time so I could fit study around my life. The study material was easy to follow and the staff were always there to help if needed. These certificates have really helped me at a caregiver/healthcare assistant, and now also with my nursing studies.

I absolutely loved studying with NZTC, I very much enjoyed the way they set up the way of learning, very easy to understand and navigate. I successful gained my level 3 certificate. After trying many different education providers to do my certificate I found them too complicated to navigate and get my study done, I then came across Nztc and it was a god send. I do hope they bring in more course options such as New Zealand Certificate in Study and Career preparation level 4 - Health, which is to help get gain entry to nursing and other courses!. Definitely will study here again if they bring this course in :)

They are really just a money grabber. I have heard of so many unfair treatments from my friends who went there. Their refund policy is only 10 days, which means u have to decide if you wanna choose teaching as a full time career within 10 days. Even if you decide to not take any further courses, they still won't give you back the money. I don't really think they care about the students. And the course quality is just really bad compared to a proper university. The only good thing is you can work full time while you do their diploma.

Staff is not very supportive. Even if you send an email they donβt reply and take long time to reply. Donβt go to this collage especially for immigrants. Even they donβt care about you. They just care about money.

A lecturer from New Zealand Tertiary College Sue Nicolson has been a great support for our student teachers. Sue was friendly, knowledgeable and a passionate lecturer whom NZTC should be proud of. I recently had an unpleasant experience with this college but am glad to know our student teachers are valued and supported by lecturers like Sue. :)
