My colleague was booked on a tour with this company that is clearly not operating anymore, yet is still advertised on Expedia leaving my colleague high and dry and out of pocket.
Thank you guys for a great birthday party for my son. Both children and adults enjoyed the Segway tour around Davenport. Kiwi Segway Tours took really good care of our safety and made sure everyone had fun.
We booked an airport transfer with this company for an early morning flight out of Auckland. We were picked up right on time and greeted by the two owners with smiles and professional service. The mini van was super clean and comfortable. We will use Kiwi Segway Tours next time we are in Auckland.
We had an an amazing Tour with Karyn and Andre. They showed us the best spots in Auckland. We learned a lot about the country and the people. You could ask them any question and they had an answer for it. All in all: great people, awesome city and a lot of fun. We would highly recommend them!
Stay away from these thieves! Booked and paid $165 online for my sons and I to do a Segway tour, which the company confirmed in writing with me the next day. A short time later they told me our time slot was double booked (their mistake!) and offered us a replacement Segway booking for later that day which my boys and I were excited about doing as this was our first trip to NZ. When our Segway booking time approached they emailed me to tell me it was a mini bus tour not a Segway tour!!! And then they were rude when I cancelled and asked for our money back, as this was not what we had paid for, and there was no way a ride around in a mini bus was going to be of interest to my teenagers who had waited all day to do Segways. This was deceitful and the company was very rude and unprofessional to deal with, trying to blame me for “cancelling” and yet it was not at all about cancelling it was about good old fashioned HONESTY in them delivering the service we had paid for (segways, NOT a mini bus ride) and after a lengthy effort of trying to communicate with them only refunded half the money I paid. They booked us in for segways at $165, replaced it with a mini bus ride and then got upset when we said hang on a minute that’s NOT FAIR and not right, then tell us we should have been grateful as the mini bus ride was worth more money? At the end of the day I’m a single mum of two boys and $165 might not be a lot of money for some people but for me it was a huge amount to pay to try and create a fun lifelong memory on our short trip to NZ with my teenage boys, and then to have half of it stolen by the rudest people I’ve ever dealt with at Kiwi Segways. If a company cannot deliver what the customer pays for and TRUSTS will be delivered then most decent business owners would’ve just apologised and said no problem here’s your money back, in good faith and out of respect and courtesy. Do not trust this shoddy company. All we asked for was what was fair and for what we paid for. BE WARNED!!
