    Terrible driving from this company. Was compelled to write here after seeing that a complaint was written a year before as well in the review below- and even more reviews about bad driving from 5 years ago!?! Is anything truly being done to address this if this is still ongoing??! We were at a roundabout and their driver has sped through with his massive truck like it’s a motorway endangering so many cars - when it wasn’t even his right of way. He almost hit our car and it was such a scary experience. Not impressed. 2/10/2025 at 1:20 pm at the Swanson / Universal roundabout. Truck license plate - FWG25. I have the let the company know along with passing details of the truck licence plate and I hope they investigated this incident and reprimanded their driver.

    Terrible driving from this company. Please watch the dash cam video. Happened today 17 of October 2024, time 1418h. Happened in southern motorway going north. Clearly shows that this is intended provocation!

    These guys still work to the old fashioned principles of providing great customer service. The other day we had Goddards turn up with a couple of pallets of paper. A couple of our own crew went to help the driver, but he said, "no, it's fine, I got this" and he proceeded to hand unload the pallets and stacked them up neatly for us. Great attitude. Would highly recommend this company.

    This company isn’t concerned with the pathetic drivers they employ! Deliberately swerving into oncoming traffic and laughing in there side mirror thinking it’s a joke. Driver was abusive and when the company was called about the incident they couldn’t be less concerned about the drivers behaviour. I will be letting everyone I know that Goddard’s is NOT the company they need to be using! Police were called as the company couldn’t be bothered dealing with this. Absolutely despicable, disgusting and very unacceptable behaviour from the driver and the company!

    Terrible services during lockdown. They told us on the day that they can only drop off the beds outside or the garage. We told them that the garage is full but you can drop inside the lounge. The driver call his boss and left the site without further communication with us. We have no beds to sleep in the weekends. We didn't understand the logic between garage and the front lounge. They are both indoor and in the front. In the response from the owner below he said that we took video. We took a photo of where the truck is parked and did not took any photos. It was a Friday afternoon when the driver came and I believe he just want to leave earlier for a good weekend. In the week after, Goddards send two other guys to deliver the beds and their service was good. By the way, the two guys came Monday also agreed that driver on Friday just want to leave early and go for his weekend. At the end of the day, it is a bad experience rather than a good story.

    Terrible lockdown level4 behaviour. Virtually no masks Guys up to 4x in a container stacking and packing not a mask in sight. Across the road in the outdoor carpark for their morning tea break sharing cigarettes. No masks. Phoned the office twice. No improvement yet. Waiting...

    WORST SERVICE EVER!!! Recently bought 3 whitewares, using three different companies to deliver goods as goods were bought from three different shops. Goddards cartage Ltd was the WORST delivery dervice ever. They called at 10am. Was advised delivery will be done in 30 mins. They came 2hrs later. When they came, they just left the double door fridge in my kitchen. I've asked them whether they can help to unpack the fridge as it was just me and my mom. They refused and said they've already helped too much. It took almost an hour for me and my mum(pensioner) to unpack the fridge and remove styrofoam bottom as it was huge. The other two freight companies I used previously offered to help unpack the goods even before I asked them to help. Both companies helped unpack the goods and they even took away the the boxes with them. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! If I can give negative star rating I would give -10 stars. ‐------------‐-------------------------------------------------------------- REPLY to response If you offer all those services, it is your responsibility to promote that services to customer as well as train your staff to to promote those services you offer. No one mentioned about options at the warehouse nor your driver when I asked him to help to unpack. I can't forget that delivery person's words and face expression when I asked whether he can help to unpack the fridge. If the delivery person offered or even mentioned about those options with extra cost I'd be happy to pay extra cost to get that services. But NO. He just left the fridge with bitter expression on his face as if he did not want to work at all and made me feel as if I did something terribly wrong. That is a BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!

    The guys helped my partner an ! shift from Howick to Maraetai an they did an amazing job. Very friendly an efficient. Took great care of our furniture. Totally recommend them. Will definitely use again... Thank you so much guys
