Today 12/09/25 at 12:05 I tried to contact th Reception to ask about training, The most Weak and even she don’t know Full information about MIT services.
I deeply regret selecting this institution for my siblings’ education. We were told that the college had an internal placement team dedicated for students to get an internships upon completion or during their studies. However, throughout the entire Bachelor of Engineering program, there was no meaningful support or guidance provided. Despite repeated attempts to seek assistance, no one responded to his queries after graduation. What we have experienced is a complete lack of placement or internship support, and no structured direction for students—despite investing approximately $100,000 in tuition and related expenses. This has been an extremely disappointing outcome.
I wish I could give this institute zero stars. It seems more focused on profit than on genuine education. My daughter spent three years studying nursing here, and the experience was incredibly disappointing. She faced a lot of racism and favoritism from the lecturers, which created a toxic learning environment. Unfortunately, the program didn’t provide her with the clinical skills she needs for her future career. I do not recommend this institute to anyone serious about their education.
“Ask me” student services at manukau campus time and time again has proven that they have a problem with communicating with its students. My advise as a parent to another to look elsewhere for tertiary education. My experience with them? Very slow in processing vital documentation, some of them do not want to listen to issues and always direct concerns even unique ones to their website so they can continue staring at their computer monitors, they are unfriendly and sometime dont even look at you when you are speaking, they dont respond to emails at all, or give you call-backs when you request one, or respond to voice messages begging for some glimmer of assistance. Unbelievable!! An epitome of bad service!!
I will never recommend this place. In 2022 they advised me to undertake the foundation course to be granted entry into the Bachelor of Nursing. Decided to go ahead with the foundation course and upon applying into the nursing degree I was declined!… when I asked for a review of decision, askme reps were argumentative, would all say different things, passed me from person to person, gave numerous emails, yet noone answered. Two weeks go by… I finally hear from someone, sorry we’re full, no spaces left in the course…. Apply next year. No sorry for not tracing who I spoke with in 2022. Absolutely unorganised and I lost $5k. Do not go to MIT Manukau!
It was hard to find where I was supposed to be at first, but afterwards I really enjoyed myself. Great teachers, and facilities to accommodate your learning needs
Beautiful building. Expensive food tho- go across the road. Nice rooms etc upstairs. Clean and well kept. Parking was $5 for the day
Not worth it any stars. Inquiries good yeah, because they want to attract business. But once they have your money, nothing else matters. Poor lectures, money is all that matters, lecturers unavailable or not interested to assist. Management unaware of what is happening and couldn't care as never willing to listen or help. Regret signing up. Will not ever recommend this institute to anyone
Very great service from the ask me team. Very easy access by public transportation, either by bus or train. Train is at the bottom of the campus. Nice!
One the worst parking facilities. There are few visitors car park but if you park there then you get tickets of $65 for breach of conditions. So don’t even dare to go for admission or for meeting to top officials of universities. They don’t inform you to get approval but rather they expect you to get approval. It’s their facility and it’s their job to look after the visitors who bring the students to you. Even academic staff is not good. Do not ever apply your children’s admission here, there are plenty in auckland or otago. I wish I would have given negative stars.
