    I couldn’t recommend them more. Doreen, Jared, Bryan and the whole team are amazing: quick, honest, and offering the best customer service you could ask for (especially coming from someone who doesn’t know much about cars). My story with them goes back a while. At the beginning of the year, my (fifth-hand) car broke down and I took it to Mayne. While they were checking it, they provided excellent courtesy cars. When they realised how much work and money it would take compared to what I had originally paid for the car, they were completely honest and offered me a second-hand car they had, with great value for money. I’ve been taking my car there ever since and have always received excellent treatment and service, feeling like more than just a customer. Thanks so much!

    I’m extremely disappointed with the service I received. If I could give it a 'no star' I would. I took my car in thinking there was an issue with the fuel system. The mechanic at Maybe Automotive later identified the problem as being with the immobiliser/key and said it needed reprogramming. I was then quoted $900 for this service. I had doubts about the price, so I contacted a mobile locksmith for a second opinion. The locksmith came to my home, replaced the key’s transponder chip, reprogrammed it, and had my car running within 20 minutes β€” all for $189. The difference in cost for essentially the same job was unbelievable. I feel completely overcharged and misled by Mayne automotive. What should have been a straightforward and reasonably priced repair turned into a shockingly expensive bill. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this workshop. I strongly suggest getting a second opinion before agreeing to any repairs here. Or even better, avoid it at all cost.

    I write this review on behalf of my dear sister who has a disability and has been distraught since Saturday 30th November over Your mechanics substandard workmanship and refusal under your warranty to take her vehicle back and repair the damage caused by your mechanics doing or failure to find the fault he claimed to now see on the Saturday 30th November after her vehicle having returned to your workshop!. She drove her BMW into your workshop to get a GOLD SERVICE which entailed in part, the cooling system being checked and tested, no reports were noted and she was never contacted either of any concerns, yet she drove it home and parked up not driving the vehicle until Saturday 30th November to help out in a charity event for needy families, upon driving home that afternoon, her BMW overheated and then lost compression driving up the small incline of Onehunga mall Road. It was then driven straight to your workshop. Today It was driven to your workshop to get it sorted to only be told by your mechanic that she needed to pay $150 first to get it looked at to be given a quote to repair to then be refunded. This is appalling business. She felt she'd been taken advantage of because she was female, and has a hearing impairment, she refuses to pay for a quote firstly, and secondly under the consumers guarantee act you have the obligation to render the issue or issue a refund of the fees charged to her, and to honour your warranty on the workmanship and parts. She has now had 2 second opinons today stating your mechanic if failed to sight the issue upon checking and testing the cooling system is liable for the repairs needed caused by the leaking cooling system. They also noted that your mechanic would had seen the signs of a leak if it was leaking but didn't. Both agree your are liable and should honor your work. Your mechanic has also tried to quote me $500 for the part, where she has found them online at a third of the price. Seeing as you're on leave and your mechanic is refusing to take ownership and carry out the now needed work needed, she will be involving the MTA And/or will persue it through the claims Tribunal.

    I received great service from the whole team. They kept me in the loop with all the decisions that needed to be made and provided affordable options. I was also given a courtesy car to use, which alleviated the stress of not having a vehicle for a few days.

    This team at Prince Street Onehunga offered me immediate service without appointment on bad wet weather when my car screen wipers failed. I was very desperate and was impressed they never turned me down. The service was excellent and quickly discharged. I greatly recommend them because they take time to listen to your case and are not stereo-typed about advance appointment. Moreover professional service is discharged with great respect to the client.
