Dispite the negative reviews for Max Store Manager Janet I had a totally different experience Janet was extremely helpful finding pants and sizes for me she couldn’t of been more helpful and very polite fantastic customer service and I will be returning.
I wasn't too surprised, looking at all these reviews about Janet (the store manager) here. I have been shopping at Max for years now and it was my favorite store but after getting served by Janet, I wanted to get a refund on something I have not even bought yet, that is how bad her attitude was. I used to recommend Max to all my family and friends. I will continue to do so, just except Sylvia Park till Janet is working there. The most amount of attitude and negative energy I have ever experienced from a retail salesperson. The other staff are a lot better than her. I thought she was having a bad day but looking at all these reviews made me realise that she is only giving bad days to others. Before replacing Janet, the person who hired her should be replaced. This is not how a manager should ever be in a store. I will never be shopping from there, ever again. I dont know about a manager, but the store did seem like it needed a good clean. Janet = lets become a Janitor.
I had the absolute worst customer service experience from the store manager, who was not only unhelpful but also rude and dismissive. I was refused a return for an unworn item with tags still attached, and the manager insisted I should go to another store, despite the Newmarket location confirming that returns can be done at any store. The treatment I received was completely disrespectful, accusatory and unprofessional. The only saving grace was the Newmarket store, where the staff were friendly and accommodating, who processed the return immediately after being inconvenienced going from Sylvia Park to Newmarket.
I wish I could give zero stars for their terrible service. It was an awful experience. The store manager, Jaint, was extremely rude. I think they should find someone more professional for the manager position. If she doesn’t have the basic manners to speak respectfully to customers, she should not be working in retail.
I'm posting my feedback immediately after reaching my home! Because I was super impressed with an excellent customer service from "Karen”, what a lovely lady and a transparent salesperson! ☺️ She was so responsive, soft spoken and straightaway came to us for help and her recommendation! Truly an asset. Thanks again! Your loyal customer, Will definitely come back again!
Online click and collect stock isn’t accurate, bought a dress for my birthday and they don’t have it in stock sadly
I had the best customer service from Karen yesterday in Sylvia Park. She was so helpful and just an absolute pleasure to deal with. Gave honest advice and matched some of my outfits perfectly. Karen figured out what I liked pretty quickly and then was able to bring me different things to try. I highly recommend going to see her for your clothing needs. Thank you Karen
