Wish the meat look as good as in the picture. Maybe post a more realistic picture. For the several time, walked out to pak&save to buy what was needed.
Always got a good range, nicely presented, good quality & good price & they have watercress! Lovely shop, clean, tidy, nice staff...
I have recently helped to organise sausage sizzle fundraiser. I contacted Preston's and was offered their fundraising rate for the pre-cooked sausages, which was a small savings but the quality and taste of their sausages was totally worth it. We had customers come back for more and one say that the range of quality you can get from each sausage sizzle was huge but those ones were at the top of his list. I also enjoyed them at each fundraiser. The customer service I received from everyone I dealt with was fantastic, very friendly and welcoming.
Great range and competitive prices. Cuts of meat i got had a good level of fat (brisket had a nice thin fat cap on) and the steaks came off the grill almost melting in my mouth.
Good selection, great cuts, better pricing than supermarkets for better quality. Can be difficult to get a park. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Electronic glitch with double payment CORRECTED with proof of error via Bank statement - thanks to management for credit. Store staff are always friendly, checkout is swift (bring your own bags) meat is best in Porirua area for cost and freshness. Will continue to shop at the store keeping the family happy and feed.
Purchased some frozen lamb racks to take overseas for friends -vacuum packed as well as a cover letter stating where they were from as well as clean kill abattoir Spot on service -as usual !
So tidy, always well maintained and willing to help out if you want something specific.
I've had 3 not so great experiences there, which is I write this review. Last weekend the rump steak price was $14.90/kg, I ordered some, but the tag price was showing $28/kg at checkout. Which is ok, could be something wrong with the system, not really, they said the more expensive was the correct one, didn't honor the price displayed, and were rude when I refused to take a much more expensive product. Happy to update this review in the future, but for now I'd rather take a longer drive to the city for Preston's in Wellington.
Great butchers! Good quality meat, all the usual cuts and more. Also do a small range of vegetables, and there's a corner full of seasonings, coatings, and meat rubs etc. And it's all at reasonable prices!
