   Without question, this is the worst customer service experience we have ever had. Our Karndean flooring was installed in early 2021 having been sold with a lifetime guarantee. Before we even moved in, we noticed significant bubbling in areas exposed to sunlight. We raised the issue immediately, and while several attempts were made to fix it, none were successful. What followed was years of chasing Flooring Xtra to have the flooring properly repaired and eventually replaced. It has taken almost five years for new flooring to finally be installed, during which we faced repeated delays and extremely poor communication. Emails, phone calls, voicemails, and text messages often went unanswered—particularly by Jordan, who consistently failed to respond or follow through on his commitments. At one point, even Karndean’s own representatives had difficulty getting in touch with him, despite multiple attempts to make contact. The lack of communication and accountability throughout this process caused significant frustration and unnecessary stress. Flooring Xtra and Jordan's after-sales service has been deeply disappointing, and I would strongly urge others to take this into consideration before choosing them.

   Very pleased with Flooring Xtra. Our job was difficult in that it couldn't be done all at once: the guys had to work around the complex routines of a disabled old person. There was a bit of a hiccup over the last bit of lino but it was all sorted and the compromise was well managed. In all, the service we received from all the staff, admin, assessors, layers, was personalised, sympathetic and very kind. I'd have no problem recommending them.

   Carpet stains so easily despite saying it’s meant to be hard to stain and good for kids. The only thing that lifts is whatever can be vacuumed. I was told to get it professionally cleaned which isn’t a viable option every time something drips or drops and no other cleaning suggestions were recommended.

   I had a new gas heater installed which left a gap from the old to the new in my carpet, the young fella Scott came out & he did a fantastic job with the repair as my carpet was only 2 years old & having this gap was not looking good but Scott repaired it, you would never know there was a hole, looks good as new & the workmanship was outstanding, thank you Scott, your an asset to Flooring Xtra :)

   Carpet quality is alright. However, poor communication and breaking some parts of a house during the installation and just leaving away without fixing them may need to be addressed. Carpet installers were gentle. However, they broke a door handle and steel adapter for a sliding door. When I requested them to fix it, there was no response.

   Rang to get a quote - man visited (pleasant) measured up but no quote ever received! Got the impression the job wasn’t grand enough for them. In the mean time had amazing service from flooring design - ring them first!!
