I booked in with Tim, a podiatry pro, With high hopes he'd help with my feet, toe to toe. The tools all looked shiny, the clinic was clean, His coat was pristine, his manners quite keen. But oh! When he glanced at the skin on my heel, He jumped to conclusions — that stung like steel. Said, "You're picking, my dear," with no second glance, Not stopping to think I’d give eczema a chance? Keratoderma, a name with a twist, But sadly, poor Tim just gave it a miss. “If it gets worse, see your doc,” he declared with a sigh, While I sat there thinking, "You didn’t even try." So next time you're faced with some feet in a state, Don’t rush to judge — investigate.
