Track surface is coming up at the 100m start line, which is common every year. Wellington City Council does a patch job, but it always fails. After 5 pm, the lights do not come on and the track becomes unsafe. The toilets on the inside are never unlocked.
So lucky to have the facility available to use. Well maintained and hosts a club called Wellington united fc. Good team too! The track seems to be open to use and highly recommended a visit here if your a runner.
Dad was in the Game s.. He won 5 gold and one silver.. He did very good.. Well done dad.
We hired the room under the grandstand. We'll equipped kitchen, large room with pleasant outlook on to track. Good spot for larger meetings or a small function.
Fantastic athletic families and great football field, if you are on newtown 1. Newtown one is a beautifully trimmed field, but newtown two is often very swampy and wet due to lack of drainage.
