I cannot recommend Lauryn highly enough. I first saw her at 35 weeks pregnant after receiving a voucher from a friend, and Iβve been seeing her every week since. She is incredibly caring, gentle, and exceptionally skilled. Her massages were a dream during pregnancy β especially for my hip and sciatica pain. Lauryn also uses dry needling for those stubborn, tight spots, and every session left me feeling genuinely healed. I really appreciated how thoughtful she was with scent oils, always choosing them carefully based on my needs for that day. I returned for postpartum massage, and once again she worked miracles. She gently massaged my cesarean scar, and after just one session the lumps had almost completely disappeared. Lauryn is truly amazing at what she does. If youβre pregnant, postpartum, or simply need a skilled therapist who really listens to your body, she is the one to see. Highly recommended!

I booked a pregnancy massage with Lauryn on a whim when I was pregnant with my second baby. I was really feeling the aches and pains more severely compared to my first pregnancy and having very close together pregnancies, my body hadn't had time to fully recover in between. I honestly couldn't believe how amazing the experience was! Lauryn does a very thorough consultation at the beginning of the session, going over any concerns, pains you may be experiencing and answers any questions. She explains what she intends on doing during the session and always checks in that you're comfortable. Later on when I found out that my baby was breech (second breech pregnancy), I went back to Lauryn for specific breech balancing sessions. I had a traumatic birth with my eldest in which positioning had played a major role and I really didn't want to go through that again. Lauryn was honestly a godsend. She is a spinning babies practitioner and helped me through various spinning babies exercises to help encourage baby to move into a more suitable position. It was never painful or uncomfortable. I also told Lauryn that I wanted to try and avoid the ECV procedure (done at the hospital) so she was very open to helping me work through various spinning babies exercises (both with her and at home) to achieve this goal. Lauryn did an amazing job! Her gentle spinning babies techniques worked to encourage my baby to move into a more suitable position (confirmed by midwife) and this birth went SO much better than my first. I truly think the work Lauryn performed (including helping me to relax my body and mind) helped me achieve a great birth experience and ultimately heal from the past trauma I had associated with birth. I've since done one postpartum massage and plan to do a few more. I was recommended Lauryn's services by a friend and I would recommend her to any pregnant person. Lauryn is professional, attentive and truly just wants to work with you to achieve your goals and help you feel at ease. Thank you so much, Lauryn for everything you've done for me β€οΈ

I recently attended a postnatal massage training day with Lauryn to compliment my work as a birth and postnatal doula. It was absolutely excellent, on every level. Lauryn is an experienced, knowledgeable and clear teacher, who shows compassion to her students and clients alike. I have attended a birth preparation workshop with her and some of my doula clients in the past, so I have seen her working in both contexts. I was able to use my new postnatal massage skills immediately after the training with a client who was 1 week postpartum, and who felt immediate benefit and release of tension from the early days of breastfeeding. I am thrilled to be able to offer this to my own clients and thank Lauryn for getting back to teaching to pass on her incredible skills and wisdom!

BE AWARE IF YOU ARE THINKING TO DO BREECH MASSAGE I want to share my experience so that other mums can be aware and stay safe. I went to Lauryn for a normal pregnancy massage, not for anything to do with breech turning. During the appointment, I mentioned that my baby was breech, and she said, βItβs okay, I can help you today with that as well.β I had not discussed or agreed to any breech massage with my midwife or doctor β it was just supposed to be a relaxing pregnancy massage. However, during the session, she started pressing and massaging my belly very hard, trying to move my baby. There was no ultrasound, no medical supervision, and no reports involved. It was very uncomfortable, and I felt something was not right. Afterwards, when I told my midwife, she was very concerned and explained that this kind of breech massage or manual turning is not safe and not legal in New Zealand unless itβs done by a qualified medical professional in a hospital setting with proper monitoring. I truly regret going for this service, as it caused me a lot of stress and worry for my babyβs safety. Lauryn has many certificates displayed and may be experienced in general massage, but I strongly do not recommend her for pregnancy or breech massage. Please always check with your midwife or doctor before allowing anyone to do this kind of treatment. Iβm sharing this so other mums donβt go through the same experience.

I had the best experiences with Lauryn. She has an incredible amount of knowlege, and passion to help women. I had never had accupuncture before, and Lauryn blends her expertise of massage, accupuncture and female physiology to aid you throughout pregnancy. I honestly leave amazed each time at how fantastic I feel. I would reccommend her to everyone. Thanks Lauryn!

I highly recommend Lauryn's 'Labour & Pregnancy Massage Partner Training' for all couples going through pregnancy. She taught me how to massage my partner and points of acupressure to help during moments of pain/discomfort during different stages of labour. I now feel like I can be a part of the pregnancy and has made me even more excited for our child's birth - Thanks Lauryn! :)

I went to Lauryn for postpartum massages as she came highly recommended. Her massages are truly as amazing as was told to me! Lauryn helped me with many postpartum issues with her massages, from removing my lochia & wind from my belly, stimulating milk let downs to removing clot ducts. In fact, when I went to her on second day postpartum, she helped to stimulate certain acupressure points and that evening when I went home after my massage, my milk came in shortly that evening! During each session, Lauryn would patiently listen to my issues and tailor my massage sessions accordingly. This was my second pregnancy and comparatively, my postpartum recovery was so much smoother under her care. Lauryn is amazing with her knowledge and experience, and I always felt so nurtured after my sessions with her. I would certainly highly recommend going to Lauryn for your postpartum massages. You wonβt regret it !
