Our family used Izard Weston for quite a simple personal service, there was nothing complex involved. We used a senior partner, she charged four times the amount of what a standard lawyer would charge. I know this because receiving our invoice I spoke with two other firms to get an estimate. What's most disappointing is that she provided a sub standard service and didn't seem to offer much advice - we just expected more value for that kind of money. Perhaps they provide more value and better service if you are a large corporate or have complex issues and spending the big bucks, but in our personal experience we got very little for 4 times the price.
