   I didn't read the reviews before ordering a replacement faucet from these guys, but I'm going to credit them for successfully getting my order and posting it to mail across town within Auckland. (The mail service messed up the delivery, but it was just random bad luck, no fault of RVA). Communication was not their strong suit, calling works better than email for sure. I may have just gotten lucky but I was happy in the end. Hoping this positive karma review boosts their overall karma for future business.

   This crowd claim not to sell self-containment kit (see their reply to other reviews) but are the same company as SCNZ, at the same address and have the same owner (Sam). Lots of bad reviews too!

   Do not use RV appliances. Purchased a tent which broke on the first use, been trying to get a refund for about 2 months and returned the tent about 1 months ago. Impossible to contact and shocking service.

   Well my experience was a total waste of time with terrible customer service! Looks like others have similar issues. 3 Weeks ago we placed an online order with SCNZ ( Self Contained NZ) which is the same company as RV Appliances. 1 week later I tried to get in contact about my order, couple emails, messages on Facebook and in the end the answered on the 7th phone call… Said they were waiting on the stock and going out the next day. Few mores days passed and had to chase up again which took more emails and phone calls, “sorry we can’t supply half your order but we’ve sent out the other half” annoyed at the inconvenience I said I want a full refund and don’t bother sending the rest of the order as I’m going to have to get it somewhere else and pay for shipping again. Outcome was he already sent it and refunded me half of the shipping.. Received the other half of the order only to find it poorly packaged and all 3 bottles of toilet chemicals had been damaged by courier and leaked everywhere! Package had RV Appliances on it so decided to try calling them as it’s hopeless getting in contact through SCNZ number, got through straightaway and low and behold it’s the same guy! Anyway demanded a full refund and sent pictures through. It took over a week for them to finally refund me after more emails and phone calls. This company is an absolute joke and has zero customer service skills! Thanks for wasting my time.

   We purchase the wrong model extractor fans for two of our vehicles and discovered the mistake when we received them, the items are in exactly the same condition as purchased, this company point blank refused to take them back, I believe they are a middle man and drop ship their products which is not illegal or wrong, but if the incorrect product is ordered surely they can send it back to where it came from, or is it too much admin for them to keep customers. Make sure you order exactly what you need or you'll have problems with their after sales service.

   Avoid at all costs! I bought a 'complete' self contained package for over $500, however: - The 'complete' set does not contain all items needed to connect the plumbing. I had to buy multiple additional pieces at Bunnings to connect a simple setup. - No installation support at all is provided, not even a simple drawing. - It's impossible to contact this guy. The phone is hardly being answered and this almost seems to be done on purpose. WhatsApp messages are not being replied to. If you're lucky enough to do get through, don't expect any help. - Shipping issues are not being solved, but rather blamed on NZ Post. At the time I bought the self-contained kit this was the only company providing it. Some competition is definitely needed! One of the worst companies I've ever dealt with.

   So they dont deliver to a PO box. I had asked them a few months back and they said they did deliver to a PO box but its obviously changed. Would be nice to this information on their website. They say they they tried to contact me but they dont like to email. Just calls and text of which I have no record. And now I've cancelled the order they want to charge me 5 percent. They're cheap for a reason.
