The team at Novus could not have been more helpful when my windscreen was broken during the recent storm. They were able to get my car in that afternoon and it was all ready to drive away less than 24 hours after I contacted them. Absolutely outstanding service in a stressful time. Thanks team Novus!
Appalling service, would not recommend. The receptionist was extremely rude and unhelpful. They were advised not to contact me and were given an alternative phone number to call when the vehicle was Ready , This did not happen and I was advisedI was advised At 3 pm to collect my vehicle at 4:45 pm however at 4:30 pm they told me that the car would not be ready as they had ordered the wrong part. Surely you would check the parts ordered and Supplied .before you advise a customer to come back and pick up the vehicle. The only reason this company was used was because it was an insurance claim. The communication across the team Needs to be better. They seemed to not value my time,
I’m very happy with the service from Novus Shop. They repaired my windshield in a timely manner, much quicker than I expected. The lady who handled my repair was very pleasant, and the staff were efficient and professional throughout the whole process. What really impressed me was that Novus completed the job in less time than I thought possible—unlike Smith & Smith, who kept me waiting for 3 months with no action. Novus delivered excellent service, and I highly recommend them!
I went back to Novus as the mirror I had gotten in October 2023 (not even 18 months ago) showed very clear signs of bad primer application with brown spots creeping up across the mirror. I had to quote the Consumer Garantee Act and it was not easy to come to a solution as they tried different angles to say it was my fault rather than bad quality material. They quoted me an original mirror for a higher price than my trusted mechanic the same day. They also emphasized to me that any of their cut mirrors are only temporary fixes - Based on my conversation with my mechanic and his panel beater that's not what one should expect. After a while of debating they agreed to redo the cutted mirror. But they weren't exactly gently when removing their faulty mirror. I would have gone back to complain about the replacement as they must have given me a used cutting as it was dirty and also doesn't fit very well, especially in the top left corner as you can see on the picture I took when I arrived at home 5min later. The only reason I didn't go back is that I don't want them to further damage the mirror platform, as you can see there is some damage on the bottom left as they did a very rushed job trying to rip out the old mirror that broke when they removed it. This is the second time I have been disappointed with their services and I won't be coming back for a third time, as a similar thing already had happened with my other car a few years back. As a reply to Novus below: only a refund will help as the replacement they offered me is worse than the cheaply primed mirror in 2023. The water is already freely flowing in and out as the gap at the bottom is a few millimeters - had we given me a device to cut glass I could have probably cut it more fitting than what I was left with. Given how roughly my car was handled I don't know what else could help as I don't want more damage to the mirror frame...
Wrong price given in the beginning. Window broken in transit. Walked to and from plus waiting too many times. Good communication and they tried to help but no manager to talk to. Stated unit prices was different to final payment.
Fast 2 day turn-around to expertly repair the rear hatch-door glass of our imported Mazda MPV. Couldn't fault the service from the first phone call until pickup - efficient, professional and thorough. Highly recommend the team in Torrens Terrace (which is just off Webb st.)
Had a great experience here when my quarter rear window got smashed. I brought my car to the workshop 5 mins before they closed and they put a plastic cover on the window so that my car was weather tight while I waited for the appointment to get the window replaced. They even vacuumed up the broken glass inside my car while they were at it! The window replacement a few days later was all OK. The lady at reception is lovely and kind.
Windscreen glass smashed the day before I left for holiday. Called Novus who who did a patch up job immediately and booked me in for a replacement the day after I got back from overseas. Super quick turnaround. Great service. Thanks Jamie and the team
