   TmWe visited the store to inquire about and purchase paint for our home renovation. As we are an elderly couple with limited English proficiency, we are slower in our actions and have difficulty communicating. We initially expected professional service and advice from the employee, Serena, but she was impatient, repeatedly rushed us, and did not properly answer our questions. Moreover, she loudly yelled at her colleague in front of us, making us feel anxious and scared. At checkout, we mentioned that we were friends and family of a Resene employee and had heard that we were eligible for a discount. Upon hearing this, Serena seemed even more displeased, hurriedly completed the transaction, and did not take the time to explain the bill from the customer’s perspective. Since Resene was having a special promotion at the time, we later discovered that her billing method did not maximize our benefits. She also failed to inform us about the additional charge for the Paintwise Advance Disposal Levy and simply processed the payment hastily. This made us very angry! A few days later, we returned to the store, and another employee, Jo, was very friendly in answering our questions and even tried to help us get a refund for the 5% overcharged price difference. Although she was unable to process the refund due to the company's system limitations, we truly appreciated her efforts!

   Di, is the most miserable and unhelpful person that we encountered. If you don't know the meaning of customer service get a job where you don't need to communicate with actual living customers. Always had outstanding service from other staff members. Di really let's the team down.

   Rudest service I have encountered in probably decades. Initial staff member was really sweet, but the Manager Di is extremely unpleasant, condescending and totally devoid of any customer service skills. It wasn't till we left I realised this wasn't the first time I left there with a really bad experience from HER. For reference to all, was told word for word 'you can't bring us an old paint chart and expect us to match it'. Funny, thought that was exactly what a paint store was about. So it seems 'lacking in product knowledge' should be added to the above list of attributes. Also was trying to refuse a refund even though they hadn't made the paint at all (refund request was within minutes of paying) and they couldn't give assurances they could provide the right product. Eventually got refund and later called the head office who could answer and assist with questions, (thought that would have been something they offered to do instore ??), but I won't be stepping foot in that branch ever again.

   Refused service even tho I had a mask exemption by the old lady who works there. Ignorant, rude, uneducated. All these people who continue to do this to people, eventually will be caught out in legal problems

   I want to acknowledge exceptional service from one of your employees at your Westgate branch. Landie has been extremely helpful over the past couple of weeks. I am not a handy man and have limited knowledge of home improvement products generally. Landie was not only helpful but has excellent customer service skills, is friendly and very professional and knowledgeable about your paint range. So it's a BIG BOUQUET for LANDIE.
