   I request a 2 inch lift, got a price from these guys and lead time of 4 weeks. I’ve paid the deposit of $3270 over 7 months ago. There has been zero communication, and absolutely no work done to my truck. Apparently no parts ordered and Sam the owner is refusing to refund me my deposit. Totally absurd! I paid the workshop a visit to settle the matter on the 15th of Jan and Sam said it’ll be repaid in 14 days. It’s been over 25 day since and nothing has been resolved, I’m still out pocket of $3270 and Sam will lie to your face and tell you what you want to hear. Completely incompetent. Been really lenient and thought I’ll support a local small business but these guys just want to take advantage of people. If anyone is willing to help please let me know. I’ve worked hard to make that money and I just can’t let 3k go down the drain. Reluctant to leave this review but people need to know!

   Like many others leaving reviews, my experience in dealing with Hybrid Street 4 x 4 has been really disappointing. They will take your money, not provide you with your purchase and won't reply to emails or phone messages. Fortunately (compared to some others on here) I'm only $100 out of pocket but paid by credit card so have a chance at getting a credit charge back through the bank (need to initiate within 60 days of purchase and include receipts, emails etc). How a small business can show such distain for their customers is a real head scratcher. I suspect they won't be around for much longer if that's their business model. I strongly advise against buying anything from this company. Go elsewhere for your 4x4 needs.

   Ordered an airbox for my toyota surf, I was told it would take 2-3 weeks to complete because they were waiting on another surf to be in the shop to fabricate it. After 7 weeks and several unreplied to emails I went in to request my money back, I was told it would be another week which it was. Fast forward to me installing it only to find that the holes they had drilled for the mounts wernt even the right size, the water drain wasn't even sealed to the box so water leaked in and none of the bolt holes on the top of the box were sealed either. Decided to modify it myself to fit as I didn't want to wait another 7 weeks with no communication.

   Had my ranger in for a turbo, intercooler upgrade, egr delete and power tune. Stoked with the result! I asked for the intercooler to be custom mounted behind the grille and they knew the look I wanted straight away and I’m really happy with it. Gain in power is awesome too, heaps of torque. The guys are easy to deal with and know what they are doing. Will definitely be coming back to get more work done in the future! Cheers guys!
