   Truly the best dental care service I’ve experienced. I’ve had really bad experiences in the past with other dentist that put me off any further treatment for many years, which only caused more issues for me. After 5 years I finally decided to go back to the dentist and this place was recommended to me by a few different people, I was nervous for the examination as I know I have many problems after leaving them for so long and was embarrassed to be seen, however the staff (all of them) were so kind and understanding and never made me feel bad about it. This is the first time I’ve actually looked forward to dental treatment. Thank you to the team here you are all awesome!

   The team are friendly and professional. They genuinely want to provide the best treatment that is appropriate and not on sell other services. The explain the cost upfront abd options. Having respiratory issues, I am quite anxious about any obstruction around my mouth and nose. Mohammed Arwani was very attentive, careful and thorough with the root canal treatment and filling. After the local anesthetic, I didn't experience any pain or sensitivity during the treatment. Thanks so much.

   My children and I have been loyal customers. Sadly, last Nov 5, I booked an appointment for a tooth extraction. After consultation Dr. Ranjee said a tooth filling is better and I paid $340. Nov 11 I came back f9r teeth cleaning which I paid $470. My nightmare came afterwards. From Nov 12 to 14 I've been in constant pain. I was rushed to White Cross Ascott due to unbearable pain. I was then transferred to Auckland City Hospital. Unfortunately, none of the pain killers works for me. I had to have ice cold water inside my mouth all the time. I can't eat nor sleep. Nov 14 I went to Maxcare Dental Otahuhu and upon xray, the dentist found out it was the tooth filling that is causing my pain. I was given 2 options: Extraction ($440) or Root Canal ($1,800). I chose extraction bec the pain is so unbearable I got so traumatized. My children and I together with our friends who have been loyal for 2 years are never coming back to this place again. Contrary to the other reviews, Dr Cheryl Cribb was the one who fixed my problem though. She was nice and welcoming to me. To Dr. Ranjee, you should've listened when I said I needed the tooth extraction. If you are not sure that a tooth filling can fix it. Instead of saying "I don't know what to do" when you can see that I am in so much pain despite the local anesthesia. That is already an indication that something went wrong. You left me with a trauma I will never forget my whole life.

   Currently 33wks pregnant and needed to have 2 teeth removed as my wisdom tooth was impacting a decaying back tooth. The back tooth was infected and causing pain, so it was necessary to get removed. After being quoted by multiple dentist in Auckland, Maxcare dentist made me feel confident in his ability to remove both teeth whilst ensuring my safety and comfort. This clinic also has different payment options and quoted reasonably compared to others, The dentist was efficient and I highly recommend.

   A very pleasant first experience visiting Maxcare Dental. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Place was very clean and tidy. Dr. Mohammed was also very professional did not feel any pain at all with the dental cleaning. Will definitely comeback again.
