   Grey Lynn Family Medical Centre is a wonderful GP practice, and Dr Kavitesh Deo is an excellent doctor. He is always spot on with his diagnoses and genuinely cares for his patients' wellbeing. I have seen Dr Neil Hefford a number of times as well and he was, likewise, excellent.

   Professional and polite, but very by the book. Takes a conservative, process-first approach especially with new patients. If you prefer a GP who follows strict protocols and needs extensive history before making decisions, she fits that style. Not the doctor for urgent or complex situations, but fine for standard care.

   Dr Kavi and the team work hard to be efficient yet caring. From the phone call/reception to everyone at the clinic, me and my family have excellent experiences.    Dr. Kavi is an excellent GP. He takes the time to listen properly, explains things clearly and genuinely cares about his patients. I always feel comfortable and well looked after in his care. The practice itself is welcoming and efficient, making the whole experience smooth. Highly recommend Dr. Kavi if you’re looking for a GP who goes above and beyond.

   Sadly gone down hill over the last couple of years due to taking on far too many patients. A two week wait for a 15 minute appointment (to see any GP at the clinic) to discuss one single issue is unacceptable, and this long wait time has been consistent over recent memory- not just due to short staffing or covid etc. The experiences I’ve had with a couple of the newer GPs has been really disappointing and concerning, with lack of follow up where they should have been and without apology, and lack of investigation while you’re right there in front of them. Could never fault the service or care from Dr Kavi but he can’t carry the whole clinic. Speaking to friends and family across Auckland, it seems a two week wait is unheard of, with most GPs fitting them in within two days. After many years here I am sadly on the hunt for a new clinic.

   Dr Dewan at Grey Lynn Medical Centre is an amazing GP! So understanding, empathetic & really takes the time to make me feel safe & comfortable. Had a bit of trouble trying to book an appointment for the past few months unfortunately (left multiple voice messages, tried getting in touch with the nurse & sent emails) Finally got through this afternoon though & spoke to the lovely Pawan. He was patient & kind whilst dealing with my appointment booking. He also took the time to help me set up & make sure my online account was running smoothly. Thank you so much!

   We've been with Dr N Hefford since 81/82 and followed him to Grey Lynn. Awesome, Professional and friendly - goes above & beyond.. top it off Aggie! God send! Love how she just knows before you say anything. Thanks guys for looking after us! 3 generations I guess

   Dr.Kavi, and the entire team at Grey Lynn Family Medical are honestly the greatest medical practitioners I've ever come across. Everyone from the Administration team to the Psychologists, and General Parctitioners are incredibly people focused, and very transparent about how they can help patients. They were the only people who were able to help, in the time of need. They have helped me help myself. Thank you so much.
