We've had an amazing experience at Invictus! My son started fencing here a year ago and he's loved every session. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about fencing. They know how to make each session fun and engaging. Also, the people in the club are very welcoming and friendly. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced fencer, this club is suitable for all levels. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch fencing club.

Invictus Fencing is a brilliant fencing club. Usually there are around 10-15 people a session, all of whom are kind and don't mind fencing those with less experience. The coaches are skilled and know what they're doing, and the location of the sessions is spacious and well suited for fencing. The coaches have spare fencing equipment if you are interested in beginning the sport but aren't willing to dedicate money towards new equipment. Fencing itself is an active and interesting sport, and if you are looking for somewhere to start then I would highly recommend joining Invictus Fencing - From Theo M.

Great club, very friendly and highly organised. Excellent, experienced coaches. Right amount of structure, drills, and free fencing. Several sessions available weekly, which is great if your week is busy and you can only make it on a couple of nights. Plenty of top quality 'boxes' available for fencing bouts and good amount of sparring partners with a range of skill levels to suit beginners through to seniors. Recommended.

Great club with chill vibes! The instructors have a high level of expertise and are easygoing and generous with their knowledge. You'll find fencers of all ages and skill levels, everyone kind and enthusiastic. Sessions always start at 7pm so plenty of time to arrive after your daytime commitments. Why do cross-fit when you can have sword fights instead!?

What makes this fencing club special is that the coaches genuinely facilitate and care about your progress. The camaraderie among the members is akin to being part of a big family, as another reviewer also mentioned. Moreover, the quality of fencing and coaching is exceptional. Training: On Mondays, training runs from 7 pm to 10 pm and usually includes a warm-up, footwork exercises, and free fencing. Occasionally, we engage in intra-club competitions, which not only contribute to our overall fencing development but also help us connect with other members of the club. On Wednesdays, the training is scheduled from 7 pm to 9 pm, consisting of a warm-up, footwork drills, and a shorter period for free fencing due to the shorter duration of the day. Coaches: The coaches at this club are highly experienced, skilled, and knowledgeable. They provide comprehensive guidance tailored to individual fencers' needs. Whether it's footwork sessions, drills, or private lessons, everything is meticulously planned to ensure fencers derive the maximum benefit. Additionally, the coaches are more than willing to assist with equipment maintenance and can even provide necessary gear. Not only do they impart invaluable tactical insights, competition tips, and fencing concepts, but they are also genuinely remarkable individuals. Price: The cost of training sessions (and private lessons, if you would like them) is very reasonable, and is in no way a barrier for those who would like to join. If you are just starting out, there is plenty of gear available to borrow so there is no need to spend huge amounts of money on fencing gear (as it is quite expensive). Facilities: The gym where the club trains is spacious enough to accommodate warm-up games and provides ample room for all members. Furthermore, the club is well-equipped with numerous electrical fencing boxes, and there is always spare equipment available for those who require it. Personally, I look forward to every training session (Mondays and Wednesdays) because of all of the reasons listed above, as well as the fencing, the people, and just the overall environment which allows you to enjoy being there. Overall, Invictus Fencing is an amazing club, in so many different ways. Go there and try it out. You won’t regret it.
