   I wanted to say the biggest thank you to the team at Modes Bridal, and Diane in particular. They made me and my family and friends feel comfortable and at ease. They knew what style of gown I was looking for and found me some great options in various styles to try on. She listened to my feedback and we were able to whittle down the options to find my dream dress. She was professional, patient, kind and made me feel incredibly comfortable. I landed on a dress that I originally saw on their Instagram page and loved so we knew it was meant to be. The dress felt very comfortable and held up amazingly on the day. Thank you again to Diane and the team for the best dress shopping experience I could ask for, and making me feel so beautiful!

   I have to come here and say I am so blown away by the absolutely lovely experience I had today with the wonderful ladies at Modes. I felt so at ease when trying on dresses and was given/shown different things I could do with each dress i felt no pressure at all (like other places) and I felt like I was so well looked after and my needs and wants were listened to with the greatest respect. It was truly a magical experience and I am so over the moon because after going to many bridal places before hand and felt a bit overwhelmed and stressed with the try ons i felt so at ease at Modes bridal and i said YES to the dress of course. Today was just so lovely. Thank you both for making my time there so special ❤

   An awful experience for what should have been a beautiful moment to share with my nearest and dearest. We all left the store unhappy with the service we received. First issue is that all the dresses are in smaller sizes for try ons which means if you aren’t super skinny, the dresses you can try on are limited. After this, the ladies who were helping us also found out I had fallen in love with a beautiful dress at another store and they asked to see a photo… they then proceeded to criticise the dress and tell me why I shouldn’t get it. After this, I decided the appointment wasn’t going anywhere so tried to leave and they said no no, try one more and then you can go. They then proceeded to try to sell me very hard on a dress I was not confident or comfortable in. I left the appointment feeling very disheartened and self conscious about my own body. Their response to my experience is a clear demonstration of the lack of concern and care for potential clients.

   I took my gorgeous daughter-in-law to be into Modes to look at wedding dresses. It was fairly late in the day and the lady finished with a customer and then came to help us. We went upstairs and tried a couple of dresses neither of which were right. We went back downstairs and my DILTB found a sales rack of everything under $1,000. Oh, I said, this is much more X’s budget. The lady sensing she wasn’t getting a sale, was then exceptionally cruel to X and made an unforgivable comment about her size. We were both so flabbergasted that I paid the $70 charge (which was never explained to us at the outset) and left. I wish I hadn’t paid as she definitely didn’t deserve recompense for being so unkind. We will never go back. Making an additional comment to my review seems to be the only way I can respond to the owners reply. We visited your store, and yes it was definitely that address at 26 McColl Street on February 21st. We did not have an appointment so that is why it’s not in your book. My DILTB was not disappointed she was horrified and hurt by your comment. We couldn’t get out of the store fast enough hence my payment without questioning the validity of it.
