   Very clear and simple layout in my opinion for a fast fashion store the actual store is actually quite clean .I can recommend a visit if you're looking for casual clothes or just something cheap

   Disappointing experience in-store today. The cashier on the Ground floor overcharged/double scanned my items. Good thing I was quick to withdraw my card from the payment terminal (paywave). I asked him to review then he corrected it then I figured I was expecting a different amount since the item I got was on sale so I ended up returning the item. Be careful of misleading tags on items. I have taken an item from the same rack which had it on offer. When I paid at the counter, it was full priced. Front of house staff could do better with training on customer service, it was a terrible experience.

   Our big adventure this weekend was to go on the ferry from Devonport to the city. A parking decision, our destination was to a fantastic clothing store close to ferry building . H&M store was a jewel in the crown of City clothing shopping! The ambience, shop design and fit out was absolutely stunning! Now the knowledgeable and super friendly staff were so helpful and we were offered a 10% customer discount incentive card that could be used on the day. The displays and the reasonable prices were easily navigate able. One improvement I could see was that changing rooms were located on the lower floor. No seating close to them for husbands, elderly companions! We just sat on the bottom of the stairs! Quite hazardous! Also we had difficulty finding the exit to street from lower level! Signs directing customers would be extremely helpful! I would recommend a visit to this wonderful shopping experience as good as places I have reviewed overseas.    Nice large H&M store recently opened in the CBD. The location is easily accessible from Queen street. The store is huge. Variety and range of apparel is appealing. This drives a lot of footfalls and hence can make it very busy on weekends and holidays. The prices are competitive. The staff is nice and the service standards are good. Well recommended. Edit - August 2025 Very large collection of affordable apparel is available. The staff are nice and helpful as always. The location is easily accessible by public transport. Well recommended.

   I recently visited the HM store at Commercial Bay and had a great experience. The store had a wide selection of stylish clothing at affordable prices. The layout was easy to navigate, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

   It was as if the guy on the till was working on getting the worlds worst service award. He was rude and dismissive to my friend then proceeded to walk away and actually just pretend we were not there. In the end I had to chase him down and tell him to come back so we can just pay for our items and leave. When he saw me coming for him he actually looked like he was going to run away for a second. I was not rude/raise my voice or threaten him in any way (although it would have been nice to) If you hate working in retail that much then get a different job. He was so awful it was like we were in a bad movie. After we left we went to the Newmarket store and the lady's that worked there sorted our issue in two minutes flat, they were friendly, happy and seemed to actually enjoy their work. For management I have the receipts from that day so if you want to reward the Lady's from your Newmarket shop you can. As far as the young man in your Commercial Bay store...no amount of training can turn something that nasty into a good retail front of house person. I would imagine that everyone that deals with him has a similar experience.

   This is an interesting store. Lots of variety of styles and colours. It had plenty of light and no bangy music that does my head in and makes me want to leave asap. Good job there. There were some clothing items that had slogans in English, but not proper English. Not that I would buy anything with slogans on anyway. It's not my thing. Overall, it's a nice store.

   Staff at menswear (LG) very unhelpful, avoid eye contact, asked for help for sizing - refused and got blank almost horrified look for asking, no till on the entire basement floor open “all tills closed” the sign said…, witnessed another shopper leaving frustrated. I asked to speak to the manager to give them some costumer feedback and was told he was ‘in the office’. Perhaps that’s the prob? As far as the menswear floor is concerned, shop elsewhere.

   In the heart of Auckland's Commercial bay, next to the famous food court. A clean, well sorted store with reasonable prices. While other clothing companies are struggling, H&M seems to permanently reinvent their brand with eco friendly, recycled and sustainable product lines. Great fashion for affordable price
