Staff gave terrible customer service.Really need better clothing sorters. Prices are too high. So much junk rubbish. Reorganize the store. Like a dumping ground for unsold items from other salvation army stores.
Always greeted with warm smiles & brilliant service. Take a long look there is always a bargain to be found if your paitence

Love this store! The staff are so friendly and lovely. I’ve found so many treasures here! The store is always tidy and sorted well. Definitely a great asset to the Avondale community.
Not all their items priced. I asked nicely how much for the cds, the sales assistant said all $2 each unless they got a different price written on them. So all their cds were not priced at the time. I wanted to buy a pile of them, took them up to the counter and there were 2x cds (2x triple cd tray cases), containing 3 discs in each case, no offence (i think the lady was filipino who served me) she said "these 3cd packs are sold by $2 per disc" which means she was making that up during the time of transaction I said "i thought they were all $2 each?" (they didn't have a price on them) so i decided to ditch those 2 and purchase the rest. Later on i found out the same lady priced the 3cd packs at $6 each. In future can you please not change up the price during time of transaction, otherwise you'll keep on misleading the customers with false information and you'll never know they might take you to "fair go". Thanks.
Rude staff. Don't even have patience to answer. Just replied me "I can't wait and answer you". Priced too much compared to other salvation stores. Mainly why 1star is because. Wanted to return a dress that doesn't fit my sister. Saying I came 6days after purchase. Reason I couldn't return it earlier because I was sick. Not that I was using it but the lady in the register said that I was using it and returning. So I had to give the dress to them back with out refund.
The Salvation Army is a great place to find all kinds of goods, clothing, bed linen furniture, China, cutlery books and many other items. Affordable items to cater to their customers. I highly recommend this place to find good quality items, and they are doing their part to help the wider community too.
