   Be warned: Castle Parcels, specifically the Patiki Road Depot, cannot be trusted to perform their basic service. My experience involved a scheduled delivery for an entertainment unit. The status was updated to "Receiver closed. Please contact local depot." This was a complete lie. No driver attempted delivery, and no phone call was made. I was home and my property was fully accessible. When I phoned the depot after the first failure, the agent asked if my address was a school, confirming they suspected the "Receiver Closed" status was being applied fraudulently to a private residence. Despite clarifying this and having an "Authority to Leave" instruction on file and assuring me that it will be delivered the next day, the exact same fraudulent status, "Receiver closed," was applied a second time. Again, no delivery attempt and no contact. Two consecutive days of fabricated delivery attempts indicates a deliberate practice, not an isolated mistake. The Patiki Road Depot appears to have a culture of falsifying records to avoid completing deliveries. There are other 1-star reviews attributed to this Depot so clearly this is a pattern. My complaint to customer service failed to resolve the issue. I have in the interim made contact with the sender and will be forced to initiate a chargeback for non-delivery if this matter remains unresolved in the next few working days. UPDATE [29 September 2025]: Following the escalation detailed above, the item was finally delivered today under direct supervision from the carrier’s managerial team. While the resolution is appreciated, it required extreme effort on my part and intervention from the original sender to overcome the depot's repeated failures. This confirms that the initial issues were systemic and could only be resolved by applying significant external pressure. I am leaving this record to inform others.

   Worst courier service i've come across in NZ. Prepare for a small package sent from South Auckland to North Auckland to take more than 7 days.

   Horrible delivery service! They left my parcel who knows where. And never contacted or informed me that it arrived. Now it's missing and it's very expensive. Called their support, and they said they can do nothing about it, while their policy clearly states that they shouldn't leave parcels unattended. Very dodgy company. Never use their service. I'm demanding a full refund. Horrible experience.
