Went in with a charging port issue, and the lady replaced it within an hour. Communicated well, and did exactly what they said at the quoted price. 5/5 will use again, and highly recommend.

I came here based the the aggregate review score and have to say I found it quite misleading. I dropped off my laptop on a Friday for a service to some fans and they called me back later that day to let me know a replacement would be needed which would take a few days and that I'd be updated on Saturday as to the price. I wasn't. I called on the following Tuesday to ask about what was going on, and was told that the staff would need to check with their repair centre and would call me back in 10 or 15 minutes. They didn't. I called the next day to check in again and was told my laptop would be arriving at the store that day and they'd call me when it was there. No call. Despite their hours being listed on here as until 5pm, the phones weren't picked up when I called to check in again at 3. I drove in to speak to someone in person but found the shop locked and closed over an hour before their listed closing time and still don't have the laptop. I wouldn't have minded if I'd been told that repairs would take longer, but being promised something that never materialises is terrible customer service. Looking now this same issue seems to be cropping up a lot, and I'm still annoyed I was never given a final quote on what the necessary repairs would cost - they just went ahead and did them. Seems a bit dodgy to me. Really wishing I'd had the service done elsewhere.

Terrible service. I took my laptop in to get my motherboard replaced which they said would take about 2 weeks. After over a month of me chasing and them not calling me back to update me I finally took the laptop back to go elsewhere. Now I have been told that all my data is probably gone as the laptop has been dropped since I gave it to them. I would not recommend anyone use this store. Looking around at other reviews it looks like lots of other people have had a similar experience. I wish I could leave a minus review after I called up to complain and they hung up on me

I had my daughter's school laptop repaired by Techexpert New Lynn Branch last April 2021. The laptop had a power button problem. They had a lot of good reviews so I tried their expertise. I left the laptop with them for a couple of days. The lady told me that they were still waiting for their supplier to give a quote for the power button parts. They fixed it and charged me $125 gst included. I just opened the laptop now(after a yr since being fixed by Techexpert) because I was going to upgrade the hd. Surprise! The fixed they did was putting a piece of paper in between the button and power button board, see attached picture. They did fix it, but I wasn't expecting that kind of fix to be done.

WARNING! Do not get your 'repairs' done here! Came to pick up my laptop after a screen replacement and the new screen was falling apart in many different places after being 'repaired'. I asked the technician to fix it again as it was damaged and she took it back and returned it to me in the same poor condition again afterwards - no repair. I was quoted 1-2 days, it took 6 day and cost $260 and is going to cost me another $200 to be repaired by someone else from the damage that was done (as I have lost faith in their ability to fix anything) and they will not resolve the issue by helping me pay for the repairs elsewhere. Shortly after the 'repair' the middle part of my laptop has broken off completely due to the poor repair. So so so disappointed and costly. This is my laptop that I use for my livelihood and they have wasted my money, my time and my energy. See photos. UPDATE: The professional who has now repaired my laptop to any normal provider standard also mentioned they should not have glued the bottom of my screen as this part of it is very delicate. The reply given below is completely untrue and none of this communicated by them or the things they have described were said by me. Update: April 2022, 6months later. Top right hand side of my screen has stopped working when I click. This is also the side they should not have glued. Will need to buy a new laptop rather than replace again for another $200.
