We ordered a helmet online and were waiting for delivery, but we needed it before the estimated arrival date. We went into the store and asked if we could swap the online order for a helmet they had in stock. The team didn’t hesitate—they jumped into action and had everything sorted within 15 minutes. While we waited, the staff were incredibly friendly, making the whole experience enjoyable. 10/10 — thank you!
I think every person on staff popped round to help my kids feel confident and independent during the time we were in store. They were incredibly patient and informative, and we left feeling good about our purchase, and like we'd been inducted into the skateboarding community. Their passion for the sport was obvious and they made it feel accessible to my crew of beginners. Definitely worth the drive to the city.
Fantastic service here today. My friend had bought some shoes online and had paid for them. Before collecting them we found them a lot cheaper elsewhere. Christopher jumped into action and phoned his manager and was able to offer my friend a price match and refunded the difference. Well done team, we like your style!

Hands down the best store in town. I easily spent 3k on snowboard gear and their service was amazing. The staff are so helpful and even if they don’t know the answers to your questions they find someone that does.
Went in on 27/02 around 4:30pm to try on some snowboard boots and gear. Received great help from staff, most notably the manager at the time (didn’t catch his name but the man who snowboards!). He helped me find the right fit and gave plenty of information so I was able to purchase the perfect gear. Cheers to the team at Boardertown Wellys, and will be shopping on the regular ❄️
I went to the store a couple of days ago. I didn't dressed that nice,just some old wrangler jeans and a white t-shirt. I was looking to buy a new jacket. I was needing help to find a nice jacket for me, they just simply ignore me. The staff just ignore me, it was like I didn't existed which isn't a nice approach from them. Also no mask as well which make me uncomfortable. Otherwise I am really happy that there is a store who sells urban/American clothing style in wellington. Pretty cool Not cool on the staff just ignoring my existence.
