Brent & his team are awesome, so helpful and friendly. Provided the right amount of clear info to let me make informed decisions, and prioritise according to my (small!) budget. Quickly identified & sorted out issues that had stumped other mechanics I'd been to at another shop. Brent at Hyde Automotive has been fixing my cars for 22 years, and before that his father who used to own the business. Brent and Paul alway go way beyond for me, fixing my car with an eye on my budget, explaining the options clearly and kindly. I 100% trust that they are not doing shonky or unnecessary work and that they are keeping the costs down if they can. I haven't found a Dr or a dentist that I trust and respect as much as these guys!
I have no problems giving Brent and Paul a 5 star review. These guys are honest, friendly, reliable, all you could ask for in mechanical services. Be prepared to book your vehicle in 2-3 weeks in advance as they are always busy. Brent and Paul have done some good work on my Euro vehicle, they have given me good advice, listened to my input, and given me great outcomes each time. And now they are working on my car again, with the same expected results, best mechanical workshop I have found. These guys are so popular there is a 3-4 week waiting list, get in early and book your pre Xmas service now
Brent and Paul provided the best customer service I’ve experienced. Hyde Automotive managed to source a cylinder head stud for my Triumph Vitesse, of 1968 vintage. Brent followed up a couple of times on the same day, and sourced the hard to find engine bolt. The team couriered the bolt to my door, and also offered some helpful advice, all for a very fair price. Called over the phone to see if my car could be looked at, unfortunately they were booked out however Brent did recommend other repairs that they often send some of their customers to when it gets busy which was much appreciated. He also took the time to ask what was wrong with my car & advised what was potentially the issue and how to move forward. Brent was also apologetic about not being able to book me in which I appreciate, he has a wealth of knowledge. Recommended.
