   I was reluctant to leave my excellent Sandringham mechanics after moving to Kelston but after some years I decided it was not very good for my carbon footprint to keep travelling there so I tried out LMS one day. I am now totally committed to this family business. Time after time, if they are busy and cannot help me immediately, Dave gives me the name/location of where he would get the part or service saying, I could charge you the $$$ amount and book you in in a week's time or you could go here, pick it up/get it done there immediately. These chaps, this whanau are my friendly neighbourhood mechanics. My whanau now. I trust and respect them all..i.e. I love them. Honest, down to earth, reliable. And they get upset when someone posts a bad review saying things like, "This goes against everything we stand for, we are a neighbourhood mechanic, not rip off agents. And they speak the truth. Their busy-ness is testament to the integrity and excellence that their business fulfils every time, in my experience

   Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with the team here. Was quoted $500 for a service a bit pricey, but read their reviews and thought ok I'd rather pay for top notch service. Service completed went to pay, and apparently my truck needed more oil than previously expected, etc, and it cost $550 even though I mentioned to him my rego upon booking which he read back my truck details agreed on price and booked it in. Apparently, they don't write notes on their bookings, and the quotes guy was on vacation and unreachable. Also a month later after my full service which included a full look over of the vehicle I had to take my truck into a holden service centre who found a broken bracket for my muffler which was making a high pitch squeak and a torn cv boot which had no grease left. Unfortunately, I would not recommend even though the guy who looked over my truck was an ex holden mechanic. Really look around and make sure to find a good, honest, reliable mechanic. Icing on the cake was that to my surprise, when I got home, they had the nerve to brand my truck with their logo sticker on the back of my canopy without my consent. Sorry, but I won't be using these guys again.

   Had a great experience here. Had our car fully serviced before we went on a road trip. They took care of all the issues, explained what they did and why and gave us a fully itemized bill. The car felt great to drive and we've had no issues with it on our trip.

   What I like about this place is that all work is detailed in the invoice, the prices are fair. Workmanship is good especially since we have a European car. They don’t do things that are not necessary or at least not before having talked to you about them and quoted roughly how much it will be. So Overall, compared with other garage experiences we had they are really good and I warmly recommend these guys
