I’ve had several disappointing experiences with Chubb Insurance. Their phone support has been rude on more than one occasion, and it’s been frustrating trying to get even basic help. They were recommended to me by Spark NZ, but based on how I’ve been treated, I regret taking that advice. I won’t be recommending Chubb Insurance to anyone.
I was introduced to Chubb Insurance through ANZ, and I would like to especially express my appreciation to Linda Gabrial. Linda showed genuine empathy during a very difficult time as I grieved the loss of a loved one. She followed up with me and my solicitor while we awaited the Letter of Administration (typically take months due to legal procedures). Her support gave me peace of mind, as I had always perceived insurance claims as something that could easily be neglected or deferred. Her reassuring emails truly made a difference so I appreciate everything Linda has done for me. She was well-prepared, had answers ready, and made the claims process incredibly smooth zero hassle and very professional. Highly recommend her exceptional service.
My experience with Chubb Funeral Insurance was smooth & transparent from both sides. Our claim was dealt with respect & urgency. I highly recommend Chubb. If only I could give 5+ stars.
Really bad and untimely customer service. We have been disappointed with them as an insurer, would highly recommend avoiding them as an insurer.
Absolutely useless company. It's taken months to try and get a policy through them. Their lack of response, common logic and lag times contribute to the experience. Most useless company I have ever dealt with. The lack of service shown thus far, gives an insight to what it would be like as a customer making a claim. I don't think it is worth the time or effort. I've cancelled my application after months of waiting.
Do you guys even have customer service? 60 minutes still not connected. It's not like whole NZ is with Chub Life and you guys are busy serving customers.. PS: Thanks for replying to e-mail. Please improve your phone service.
Customer service is shocking. We have requested information regarding our policies for over 6 weeks and nobody gets back to us.
Been trying to cancel my policy coming onto the third week now. Customer service is so slack at fulfilling my request to cancel. Only reply I got was why I shouldn't cancel. Still no reply as I write this review. Claims on the other hand reply instantly and are ver efficient. Customer service staff can learn alot from them.
Unbelievably bad. Took two days of phone calls to finally get to the correct department. They incorrectly set up a DD and have been taking money out of my account. Not yet resolved or returned. I have never signed a DD agreement with them. In fact I have not dealt with this company but somehow they managed to set up a DD and take money from my bank account. Also my bank allowed it to happen. If the bank and a company like Chubb can just take your money like that something is very very wrong with how the system works.
